Publisher's Summary

A USA Today best-selling book!

After Effie D’Archangel’s scholarship gets revoked, she’s screwed. Everything she’s ever worked for is gone. She can’t work more than she already does without falling behind in her classes. With no hope and no plan, she succumbs to a dare to attend a party for billionaires looking for young, sexy sugar babies. Despite being more geek than chic, Effie’s desperate to try anything.

Zander’s money and world-class skill and daring in outdoor adventures can’t shield him from heartbreak. Still bitter from an accident that left him deeply scarred, he accepts a dare to find a sugar baby. When he encounters Effie, she’s everything he’s not used to - and that intrigues him even more.

Agreeing to fund her tuition is a risk he knows he can handle. But as they grow closer and the truth surfaces, will the sugar baby be worth the risk, after all?

While each book is a stand-alone, the series it more enjoyable if you listen to them in order.

Adventures in love

I love how both characters fight the inevitable. They fall hard and fast but there’s so much going in that neither know how to broach the subject of the contract.

The narrator did well with the story as well

i wanted more from Zander

I felt that Zander had been more of a background kind of man. He was there with Dante in the beginning. Then he made a few appearances with Gia 'Styx' in the second addition. Now with installment three we get to see more of Zander. The change in his life and he acquisition of a sugar baby. This changes more than his bank account balance. He finds that she is more to him than just a placeholder. Effie finds that she needs a little extra help finishing her education. She does what she feels is necessary to move forward with her life.

Jonathan Tratar is back on this third installment and I have to say that I like his male voices but female voice still presents a challenge for me. Sometimes the sound masculine.

Effie and Zander

This is the third book in the Adrenaline Series and it is my favorite so far. It can be heard as a standalone. Effie is a young woman on the verge of graduating when she must find a way to earn some money to pay for school when she loses her scholarship. Zander is a wealthy man who is dealing with his own demons due to an accident which left him an amputee. Effie meets Zander at a Sugar Daddy event and the attraction is instantaneous between them. As with any relationship of this type, a contract is designed and implemented. However, as the two grow closer, there are challenges that await them. Narrator Jonathan Tratar did a wonderful job narrating this book. His vocal and tonal range is highlighted as he effortlessly switched between the characters making it easy to distinguish who was speaking. The inflection of a southern drawl that he used was just right. This is one audiobook that will have any listener swept away and feel like he/she is part of the story. Ms. Bardot penned an emotional, steamy read that is brought to life by Mr. Tratar in the best way. I recommend this audiobook.

Good Listen

Effie no longer has the funds to continue paying for school and she attends a sugar baby event. She is purchased by Zander who hates life because his accident ended his career. Him and Effie start having real feelings for each other until the truth about how they met comes out. Will they let what everyone thinks about how they met end their relationship.

Great Story!

Effie is a college student who loses her scholarship and must come up with a quick way to make a lot of money so she can stay in school. Zander is closed off emotionally due to an accident that left him an amputee and a crazy ex girlfriend. Both are convinced by their friends to attend a Sugar Daddy party and the attraction is instant when they meet. While their relationship starts off as a transaction, their feelings soon become real, however there are outside forces that threaten their happiness. A great read, steamy and romantic with some intrigue and action.

Wish there were more of the books!

Good storyline. Really enjoy these books. Just enough of adventure and romance. Narrator is growing on me.

Original Storyline

This is the third book in the Adrenaline Series. This series has intertwined characters. Effie and Zander's Sugar Girl and Sugar Daddy story is sweet, and sexy. Effie is naive, innocent, fun, kind, and supportive. Zander is alpha, dominant, caring, and protective. This story can be listened has standalone. The supporting characters are great. The storyline is original, filled with drama. Jonathan Tratar did a good job with the narration.

Sugar baby and Sugar daddy

This is book 3 in Bardot's Adrenaline series and this one can be read as more of a stand alone from the first two books in this series. There is so much that I loved about this read! First, I loved Effie's name, especially her surname. Also I loved the storyline and how she came be be a sugar baby and the awkwardness from the very beginning with her sugar daddy, her attitude towards rich people, her character growth was amazing to read/listen. I loved how Zander showed her his world and opened to her in a way like no other. This was a great story, amazing flow, well written. Balance between story and steam and a beautiful HEA.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Good story poor Naration.

Enjoyed the story and characters BUT having a male narrator for mainly female characters spoilt it for me. Surely a female narrator wouldn't have been too hard to find?
