Not just lady porn.

I was surprised when I read the book. It is not just lady porn but has some deep emotional plots and you get to see under Christian's skin and see a bit of what makes him tic. You also see the profound effect that Anna has on him and his proclivities. Good read. Better than the movie.

Looking forward to more!

GREAT narrator-Becca Battoe nails it! Great story! Just started with audible, driving A LOT for work, and now looking forward to long drives, and losing interest in TV compared to this. LOVE IT! Bring on the 3rd book!

I liked this part the best, resolution!

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Darker to be better than the print version?

Quit the email data. It gets so exhausting to listen to. It would have been so much better had it not been done that way.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades Darker to and why?

No answer

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No and will not chose to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

I'm listening to a 'valley girl'...awful.

What did you like best about Fifty Shades Darker? What did you like least?

Like, ya know...it's soo totally gross to like listen to this voice. Becca Bettoe speaks like a typical uptalking teen. I will not make it through this book, without wanting to slap the question marks out of her voice. Her emphasis is too many times, on the wrong syLAble. There is that bored rattle in her voice, as well. I bought the whole series, without sampling --big mistake. I had assumed the email notice from Audible that the production/narration had been fixed; that I could reload it, was responsive of them, based on the reviews. But this is like listening to, as previously stated, a spoiled, bored, clueless teenage girl.

I think we all need to call Audible, and demand a new narrator. These files cost nearly as much as the hardcovers, and should be better in quality than they are. If my hardcover was barfed on, I'd be able to return it. This narration is comparable to that. Sorry Becca...but you should only read books marketed to girls who talk like you. Or...here's a thought: Work on your speach, inflections, diction, emphasis, and tone. Then, you can read to the grownups.
***DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK, IN ITS CURRENT FORMAT***

Would you be willing to try another one of Becca Battoe’s performances?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yep...but only with my girlfriends!

Any additional comments?

PLEASE this narrator. I'm extremely annoyed, now that I've heard what everyone's talking about. Reeeeeelly not good, and I've never complained after buying / listening to dozens and dozens of books from Audibles.
