Publisher's Summary

Dragos Cuelebre, Lord of the Wyr, needs to throw a party without maiming anyone. That isn't exactly as easy as it might sound.

After the destructive events of the last 18 months, the Elder Races are heading to Washington, DC to foster peace with humankind. Not known for his diplomacy skills, Dragos must rely on his mate Pia to help navigate a battlefield of words and polite smiles rather than claws. With Dragos's mating instinct riding close to the surface, his temper is more volatile than ever and the threat of violence hovers in the air.

Then the human spouse of a prominent politician winds up murdered and Dragos and Pia must race against time to hunt down those behind it before they are held responsible for the crime.

WHAT A LITTLE SLICE OF HAPPINESS.... DRAGOS STYLE

I don't usually bother with short listens but when they're written by Thea Harrison, performed by Sophie Eastlake and are about the Elder Races.... especially with Dragos and Pia in particular, then there's no doubt or hesitation in my mind.... I'll gladly and willingly spend the money. Because I'm totally 100% invested in this couple and their loving all consuming bond that's so tender as Dragos has his quirks but Pia knows him so well and she anticipates his needs..... or waits for the fallout.

This is sweet, sexy, fun and drama filled as an important Dinner Party goes horribly wrong when one of the high powered guests is found murdered. I'm one happy listener when I've got an Elder Races book waiting to be listened to...... so where are the others Audible?

Audible Please get the rest of these books!!!

This whole series is just so good!! But I really like these short stories about Dragos, Pia, and Liam. We get to see sides of Dragos that are not in the other books. In this one, Dragos and Pia go to Washington for a summit meeting and Dragos doesn't kill anyone!! Surprise, Surprise!! Even though I think he wants to, but he plays nice or at least as nice as he can. When a murder occurs in their Washington home, he not only keeps it together, something I didn't think he could do, He proves the Wyr could not have had anything to do with it. But it's the background story that really catches the interest. I won't go into that part, you will just have to listen and find out what that is.

My only disappointment is that even though the second book in this series of short stories has been released, Audible doesn't have it yet or any of the other books that are listed. Please Audible get all the rest of these books. A lot of us (your listeners) really like this series!!

3 GOOD STORIES but why not in "ONE BOOK"

This is going to be a three stories review DRAGO Goes to Washington, Pia Does Hollywood, and Liam Takes Manhattan, I loved all three stories but they could have been in one! DRAGO and Pia goes to Washington for this big gathering of the Elder Race and of course someone is killed and Pia and DRAGO start on new baby. Pia goes to Hollywood to see another FAE and this time this FAE sister is angry at the sister and send very very bad FAE army to kill the sister. DRAGO to the recue but it's not that easy for DRAGO this time. In Liam TAKES MANHATTAN Liam and DRAGO are at odd with each other over Liam attitude and Liam wants to be the next sentential plus want to go to a school that close its border and Liam do get a pet.

Warm and comfy...

More Pia and Dragos is always nice, but a bit more plot with your sex is nice too.

GOOD SHORT STORY. WELL WRITTEN AND WELL PEROFRMED.

The love between Dragos and Pia has always been so......romantics! I like their concern for each other. The news of their expecting another baby is so thrilling. Can't wait for the baby 's appearance.

Politically Incorrect and a must read.

If you could sum up Dragos Goes to Washington in three words, what would they be?

Interesting drama-lama.

What did you like best about this story?

When Pia stumbles into the closet. What she finds and how the others react. Priceless, really.

Have you listened to any of Sophie Eastlake’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love Sophie Eastlake's performance. She has the characters' voices down and makes it super fun for me to listen.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Towards the end when Pia finds out that Drago's POW worked but it comes with some not so good news. I liked that Dragos does have deep feelings and is not afraid to show it or express it.

Any additional comments?

I loved this story as well. It has lots of humor and humanitarian aspects when you listen really close.

Great series!

Love the banter between the characters. I have enjoyed every book in the series. Sometimes there is a little to much sex and I want to get on with the story but still love the books.

Fantastic

I love this story and can't wait for the other two to be released. I can lose myself completely in the storyline and they seem so real. This is well read and as usual The writer has outdone herself with a story that is hot, funny and also exciting.
