Sienna's dreams lie in California, but when she discovers her grandmother's Nashville home has been foreclosed, she has no other choice than to move back to Music City, where she comes face-to-face with the flawed, gorgeous man she never thought she'd see again - and who now holds the deed to her grandma's estate.
Millionaire rock star Lucas Wolfe is just as surprised to find the outspoken redhead glaring at him from across a courtroom. He still can't get the night Sienna spent with him out of his mind, and the chemistry between them is as undeniable as ever. Now, Lucas is determined to do whatever it takes to lure Sienna into his bed, so he makes a deal with her: If she spends 10 days with him, playing by his rules, he'll hand over the deed to her grandmother's home.
Though she agrees to the arrangement for her family's sake, Sienna struggles with the promises she's made to herself and a past that still haunts her. As Lucas' game of seduction continues and Sienna is introduced to his dark, erotic world, she realizes that at any moment, she could be devoured.
If you could sum up Devoured in three words, what would they be?
Tortured Rock Star!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Devoured?
I really enjoyed the scene at the club owned by a friend's parents where a "Your Toxic Sequel" cover band was playing. The part where Lucas was watching Sienna when he was singing.
Have you listened to any of Elizbeth Louise’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first performance of Elizabeth Louise's that I have heard.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
She survived her own demons, can they survive his together.
Any additional comments?
First and foremost - the male cover model for this book (among so many others) is Dusan Novakovic.<br/><br/>The Narrator did a very good job with this book. Being a female narrator, she still managed to do a believable male POV. It was NOT overdone as some narrator's tend to do. It's very important to me that I enjoy who I'm listening to as well as enjoying the story itself. Well done Elizabeth Louise, your performance was great.<br/><br/>Okay - Devoured by Emily Snow is a somewhat steamy romance novel about a rock star, Lucas Wolfe, and his one that got away, Sienna Jensen. I went into this book loving it. Yeah, Sienna was a little whiny and Lucas was a bit of an ass-hat, but you just know it's going somewhere. There cannot be a happy ending if the book starts out with nothing to improve on. I read some of the reviews that were complaining about the insecurities of Sienna or whatever. I disagree, but then I'm not an overly critical person. Not always a good thing if you make a habit of posting reviews. Oh well.<br/>I really enjoyed this book. I liked the crappy family life and the overcoming adversity and the tortured souls etc. Sienna has her funny moments...<br/>This is the second time this evening I’ve felt bad for offending Kylie and if this time is anything like the first, she’s about to punch me square in the vagina.<br/>There's enough sexual tension between Lucas and Sienna to drive you crazy...<br/>Lucas spears a fork into his salad and takes a bite. I study the way he chews—slow, deliberate movements. Tiny flicks of his tongue that causes my body to burn. He turns eating, something that is so basic, into a seductive art. I catch myself sinking my teeth into my own lip as I imagine him drawing it in between his teeth.<br/>and...<br/>And I find myself wanting to wake-up. Wanting to open my eyes and kiss him. Wanting him to devour me just a little more.<br/><br/>I am definitely eagerly awaiting the release of book two, Consumed

I have read this book and was looking forward to it in audio. I was extremely disappointed to that there are 5 chapters at the end of the book that are missing. I have let Audible know but have not yet heard back from them.

After reading the novella, which was excellent! I was excited to download this book as soon as it became available... I could've waited. It was just lukewarm and absolutely no chemistry between the main characters, and the build up was so tediously long I was thinking to myself it if I were her I'd be outta there long ago!

First of all, I’m thinking there will be another book because there’s too many unanswered questions. I don’t mind them but if you don’t like series this is just a word of warning.
The part I liked most about the story is that Lucas, a rock-n-roll star, met Sienna two years previously and they had a failed “hook-up”. Now their paths have crossed again and Lucas is determined that this time she won’t get away. What woman wouldn’t want to be in that situation??
I enjoyed this book. I listened to it in one sitting. It’s not in my Top 10 but in my opinion it was worth my credit and I will be looking for the next book.

This was a good contemporary romance. The chemistry was hot but it left me with so many questions. I imagine there must be more books to come for this couple. The narrator did a nice job with both voices and provided a pleasant listening experience.
The story was good and had some heated moments but not enought to be called erotica. Other than its a really good contemporary romance.
Although this book is about a tortured rock star it does not have the excitement of other books of this genre. Sienna and Lucas have chemistry and that was my favourite part. It did not have as much BDSM as it leads you to believe. I like the fact that they are not an easy paring. I like that she is struggling and although Lucas is rich it is not all about the money and extravagances in this book. I think this book as an easy listen and keeps your interest well enough. At times I did find it a bit slow and was just thinking ok get it over with. I do like books that have chemistry and anticipation in getting together. I am frustrated that we don’t know the secrete between Lucas and Sam. It is also frustrating that audible had the second book in the series and now does not. I would say wait and read it when the second book is available again. It is also cheap enough to buy vs using a credit. I got it on sale so was not disappointed.
This book is really hard for me to review. This book just left me in a blah state. The book was enjoyable enough that I continued to listen but not enough that I was dying to continue. There were many times when I was bored out of my mind.
Sienna and Lucas were both very annoying at times. Sienna had an issue with being too nice and letting people run all over her. I usually like the stronger heroines so it was tough at times with Sienna.
Lucas, meh! For being this super duper sexy rockstar God, he really didn’t do it for me. He seemed okay, but just didn’t exude that rock star aura that most heroes like him would. I’m okay with tension but when one of them is hot and cold it just drives me nuts. I kind of want to yell, “Man up Lucas”! He has some skeletons in his closet and we caught a glimpse of that with the ex wife scenes. I’m slightly curious as to what it can be, but not enough.
I did like Kylie, a secondary character, which is Lucas’ sister. She was different and unique and I think her story may be more interesting.
Although I know they have another book following this one…I’m not sure that I will ever continue to find out more of their story.
Narrator note: Elizabeth Louise had a good enough performance. She sounded very girlish and young but her performance didn’t stick out either.
What made the experience of listening to Devoured the most enjoyable?
The narrator was wonderful...... She made me want to continue listening.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Devoured?
When Sienna stood up for herself finally.
What does Elizbeth Louise bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
her accents and voice changes are wonderful
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I giggled a few time!
Any additional comments?
I know that there must be more to their story. There are quite a few questions/concerns that have not been answered. So.... if there is another book in the series it's a great book worth the credit but if there isn't another, don't waste your time. I would put this on your wish list and wait and see!

OMG! I litterally waited for this to come out on audilbe to listen to this, and did not read it. I wish I hadn't. This was not that great. So much whinning... and when the smex got started...it wasn't that impressive. This was like a cheap imitation of S.C. Stephens version of thoughtless but without the angst. If you are going to do a book without the smexing like Thoughtless... you gotta have the plot and angst there... this did not. I was not feeling the heartstring tugging like I did with thoughtless. Then when they did finally have the smexing is was just boring up against the wall! What! Come on!!! We waited and watied and you just do it up against the wall! OMG! What really ticked me off was Louise even read this book...so the whole time I was hearing "Kiera from Thoughtless" in my head and got none of the same angst and emotion from the Thoughtless series which just pissed me off!
Sooo... nope I will not be getting anymore of these books. I had so much hope for Snow too. The great reviews have obviously have not read/listen to Stephens or Nicole Williams before... now that is emotion or angst... ya know!
I would not recommend this book....but I could be very opinionated because I has such high high hopes for this book. Remember I said I waited like a year for this to get transcribed into audio format and refuse to read it in print, so I expected much more.... So... ... No credit or buy here.

When the next book we all need to know what going to happen next
I will attempt to keep it brief and succinct - the main issues with this book are:
- Very unlikeable and unrelatable characters who lack heart and depth. In particular Lucas. Why any woman would be attracted to a man so shallow, rude and up himself is beyond me and believe me I love rock stars, bad boys and tattoos! Although having said in particularly Lucas the heroine was no better! Complete push over. There's some lame ass attempts by Lucas to teach her to stand up for herself which just did not make sense within the storyline and the book ends with her still not having any back bone.
- Very irritating and predictable story line. The only unpredictible things were how unlikeable Lucas was and what a soft touch Siena was.
- General and total lack of romance. Like completely! I cannot think of a single thing which Lucas or Siena did towards one another which could be classed as romantic or indicative of love.
- Even the core of the book, namely the lust between these two was...lackluster! There's about 2, maybe 3 scenes which could be described as 'sex scenes' and they were bloody boring and unemotional.
- Little similarities with 50 Shades of Grey really ruined this book because where things like threats to spank, tie ups to furniture, need to dominate etc worked in 50 Shades they really didn't in this book because they were half hearted in this book. Despite threatening to spank Siena on several occasions Lucas just never delivers and where's in 50 Shades the hero is 'damaged' and has good reason for his deviancy here Lucas is not shown to havy any reason for behaving like an aboxious and rude rock star. He was just sooooo unlikeable. I really cannot think of any good personality qualities in Lucas - he's like that asshat guy your friend dates and everyone but her sees he's a total asshat.
