Everyone I know is married.

It doesn't bother me. I like my life the way it is. But since I'm single, when my best friend and her husband finally decide to go on their dream honeymoon, she asks me to watch their three-year-old son, Max.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

This was a cute story between Nick and Tess. Though I enjoyed the story, I felt the best part was when Nick and Tess were bantering back and forth while watching Max.

This is the first book I've "read" by this author and I thought it was great. It was a somewhat enemies to lovers romance. Although, could those feelings of dislike be one sided? I really enjoyed how the storyline played out and how Tess and Nick's relationship developed and then progressed. I loved the supporting characters as well. I can't wait to listen to Jace's story and purchased the audiobook right after finishing this one. Even though Tess' best friend, Fiona, and Nick's best friend, Ethan, are already an established couple in this book I hope we get their story sometime in the future.

The narration of this audiobook was fabulous! Ava Lucas and Teddy Hamilton are fabulous. They both do a great job of distinguishing between characters so they all sound different. Their voices are also really easy to listen to. I can't wait to get started on book two, also narrated by this pair.

Tess thinks she has Nick all figured out; cocky, arrogant, playboy, jerk. Nick assumes Tess is just a sassy friend of a friend. But things aren't always what they seem! When they are thrown together to watch their godson for two weeks, they get to know each other better...in more ways than one. Sexy Jerk was a fun, sexy enemies to lovers listen. Ava Lucas and Teddy Hamilton were fabulous and their ability to bring life to all the different characters was brilliant.

I really enjoyed this book overall. Nick and Tess are best friends with Fiona and Ethan, who need to go away for their honeymoon. They are tasked with watching Fiona and Ethan's son and in doing so, find out that their perceptions of each other are a bit off. I liked the banter, their playfulness and overall, how sweet Nick ultimately was. Tess, having just come to Chicago because she was cheated on by her long time boyfriend has some walls he has to get over. He, too, has a past that makes it difficult for him to commit. Therefore, there was a bit of resistance but even as friends and babysitters. their chemistry was clear.

I thought there were some aspects of the story that just didn't need to be in the book. I did read book 2 first and some of those details tie into what happens in book 2 but honestly, I didn't think those details needed to be in the other book either so they felt extraneous and like they were included to increase the steaminess factor. Other than that, I enjoyed the book immensely.

I listened to the audiobook through audible escape and as always, Teddy Hamilton was fantastic. He played all his roles well, showcasing an ease of transitioning between characters. (He's one of my favorite narrators because of that). Ava Lucas was ok- I had the same issue I had with her in the second book. Her male voice was low and too gravelly so it just sounded a bit unnatural. However, other than that, she did well too and both narrators brought the book to life well.
