Publisher's Summary

Cupid, the God of Love, is no longer doing his job of creating romance. A disastrous mistake he’d made a quarter of a century ago forced him to put down his bow and arrow for good.

Valentina Hart has never had any luck with men, and her last boyfriend was no prize by far. An unexpected meeting with a hot guy suddenly turns her sex life from non-existent to… DAMN.

But, will Cupid’s secret drive Val away forever? Or will she stick around to show him what true and unconditional love really is?

Gods we love

What did you love best about Cupid's Heart?

The way his friends go about helping Cupid go in the direction he needs.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I DID listen to this book in one sitting!

Any additional comments?

This was a great tale of love and the Gods. I listen to this on audio and was blown away. A quick listen that kept me enthralled the whole time. I adore the story of Cupid however the way the author developed the characters and the struggle made it so much more interesting than the tale I grew up with. The narration was everything, fun, hilarious, sexy, hot, right on par with the emotions the author was portraying. Although this is a standalone book we are lucky enough that it was left open for tales of more Gods to come. Let's just hope Nicole Garcia brings us some more of the Gods we love to love.

Light and uncomplicated

This is a cute uplifting book that leaves you with a smile ☺️
Cupid hung up his arrow 25 year's ago after making a disastrous match.
Determined not to fall in love with a human... Cupid reluctantly starts falling for Valentina a human he watches daily.
This relationship is low on drama but not without it's set backs.
All in all it held my interest.
I really enjoyed the Humorous banter between cursing God's Cupid, Somnus, and Hercules 😂
This book also had some passionate scenes in it as well.
Kai and Wen did an excellent job as usual.
I was given this book by the author in exchange for my honest unbiased review.
And I say.. it's worth a credit!!

Cupid’s Cure

Cupid’s Heart is an enjoyable short story about a god falling in love but not feeling worthy of the love from the human female, Valentina Hart. Luckily Cupid has two friends, Somnus and Hercules, to help him get into trouble... errrr figure out the direction his live and love should take.

I am a mythology fan and this book in addition to as the wonderful cover art drew my attention and purchase. This is my first experience with the writing style of Nicole Garcia and I am impressed. As a side note I enjoy reading other people’s reviews and the one by Pam Audio-Fanatic had me in fits of giggles.

This book is narrated by the ever wonderful Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross in the DUET style where the male narrator takes on all the male characters and the female narrator does the same for the females. I adore this format as the narrators can play and react off each other much like on a movie, play or television. Thank you both for the wonderful talent and heart you bring to this story.

Love is Everything!

Cupid gave up his bow & arrow after he had shot an arrow in a woman so she would love a man. The man had been cruel to her and she ended up killing herself. Cupid set on the edge of the reflector pool and looked down on Val. He had been watching her for a few years and he had fallen in love with her the first time he saw her. After giving them up for 25 years, his father gave them back to him because he knew Cupid loved this woman. This story will show you, sometimes Love is all you need. Fantastic author combined with fantastic narrators will thrill you.

Hot Roman Gods!

Short, sweet and sexy, Nicole Garcia brings Roman Gods to life! The commeradie and love between the Gods, Hercules, Cupid and Somnus brought real brotherly warmth and a lot of humor to the story. This story is based around Cupid and his struggles with who he is. When he meets Valentina, his whole life changes. Their chemistry is off the charts hot(and so are the sex scene, Nicole certainly can write them!)But she is human, and he is a God, and this poses a problem. Will this group be able to convince Cupid to follow his own heart?

The incredible narration team of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross heat this book up with their performance. They bring the passion and humor right to your ears as Nicole Garcia intended. Great listen!
