The moment the demon King Thorne of the Third Realm set eyes on the mortal huntress, Sable, he knew she was his fated one. The fiery, dangerous female awakened hungers he had never experienced before, a dark craving and passion that has consumed him in their time apart. As the lunar cycle wanes, she enters his world again, and nothing will stand in the way of him claiming his forever with her - not the relentless assault from the Fifth Realm or the dark elf male determined to seduce her out of his grasp.
Intent on achieving the coveted position of commander at Archangel, Sable leads her small team into the dark underworld and the Third Realm, to a war where her allies are the very creatures she normally hunts - vampires, werewolves, and demons. Her eagerness to lead the deadly mission has everything to do with winning her promotion and nothing to do with the kingdom's brash, lethally seductive demon king - a king who stirred fierce desire and wildfire heat in her with just a look and an innocent touch when they first met and has been in her wicked dreams ever since.
As the gathering storm between rivals unleashes irresistible passion that flares white hot and the heat of the battle brings life-shattering realizations, can Sable place her duty before her heart? Or will she surrender to her deepest desires and be claimed by a demon king?
Fantastic story! Full of action, suspense, thrills and sex. True to the Publisher's Summary.
A must purchase!

I liked the main couple because the female is kind of a tomboy, a fighter not used to romance, while in the other hand you have a big guy doing whatever he can to be less scary and become close to her.
I'm one who doesn't like stories of demons but this one i don't k ow just caught me and sunk me in the story. fell in love with the characters. it was funny, romantic and thrilling. you meet shape-shifters, demons, elves, and witches! love the fighring scenes. i recommend this book to be read in the order of the series that way you know about the previous stories but it can be read as a standalone.
Horrible. Simply horrible. No real story or plot. Too much exaggerated sex. Don't waste your money or your credit. Mediocre at best. PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!!
Would you consider the audio edition of Claimed by a Demon King to be better than the print version?
I have not read the book so can not make a comparison.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Sabell was my favorite Character, she is everything you are looking for in a heroin, brave, fearless, strong and intelligent. She is always ready to jump into any situation before she checks it out which makes her quite adorable because despite all her strengths she shows her weakness to and despite them checks her weapons and gets on with the task in hand.
Which scene was your favorite?
When she first arrives at the Demon Kings places and jumps straight into a fight to help the King against a huge force of demons. Its funny as hell when she finds out he was not actually in any danger and has to look to her friends to help get her out from under the Kings gaze.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but even I had to have breaks, but this is a book that I wanted to sit with a pot of coffee in front of the fire close my eyes and just lose myself in.
Any additional comments?
Out of the first three audio books in this series this is the first one I listened to and so glad I did, it was the best of all 3 and would recommend it to others who like, humor, plenty of fighting on and off the battle ground and romance slipped in.
I struggled to finish it...it wasn't like I thought it was gonna be the romance scenes wasn't as good cause some were dreams they were having of each other but the fight scenes was good at the end and I found him calling her"little female" and"his female annoying" I mean there are better nicknames than that. like I said the romance part was a real downer for me but I'd give the story a good 3 stars...
This book is an erotic, romance, with violence and paranormal.
Huntress Sable also an angel, she has done everything to prove she is worthy to command her own team but when she find out who her first mission is, all her instincts go out the window when it comes to the king. Now she finds herself trying to hold his advances back at the same time she is trying to command her team which she seems to be failing.
King Thorne of the Third Realm is not use to chasing a woman, everything comes to him at the snap of his fingers. When he sees his mate for the first time he has to learn to not only be humble but how to woe the woman he is meant to be with for the rest of his life. He now has to convince her that she is good at her job but he not only needs her he wants her and without the bond complete they both leave his weak for the enemy to take.
Great book but not my kind story, sorry.
Book skips. Stop playing. Poor audible book, I want to return, very bad recording. Do not purchase

This book was OK. It's not that I didn't like it I just found it ridiculous in some places. I get the whole, "this is my internal mate" but really when you are getting distracted to the point where you could get killed on the battlefield remains becomes outrageous.
Main characters were likable just not realistic seriously if you're in the middle of slicing and dicing, would you really be thinking about having sex with your mate.
The characters did some stupid things in the name of "love" that irritated me.
I'm finding this whole series kind of hard to follow along with as it skips around with no really good direction. I don't understand what all the main theme or purposes of this series.

Well worth a read.
Another fantastic read by Felicity Heaton
Where We see the HEAT that is on the War Field of the Third Realm & as HOT well maybe HOTTER in the warmth of his firs.
In this episode we see the heated connection between Archangel warrior Commander Sable (who we find out she's not exactly far off from her job title) and King Thorne who asks for his neighbouring Kingdoms to side with him against the Fifth Realm....
read the books wanted the audio well worth it to complete the series 5 stars
