Thirst is the first book in a series about monsters of all kinds. If you like enemies to lovers, forbidden romance, sassy heroines, and swoon-worthy beast kings who are almost untamable, then this is the series for you.

Love the Story

I greatly prefer my steam mix with true love and this book delivers. I also love love paranormal words with many different species instead of just vampires or just werewolves. This book provides variety. I like the female narrator’s enthusiasm, but the male narrator sounds like he needs some sinus medicine and almost sounds like his “female” voice is making fun of women by being too pitchy and whiny. I hope that it’s a coincidence. However, I really liked the story and will will continue the series.

Great story narrator not so much

Good story line but I will not be able to listen to the rest of the series because it features the same male narrator ruins the listening experience 😢

Terrible narration

The book might have been great if the male narrator didn't sound like a monotone robot.

Love the story and female voice actor but the male voice is quite annoying.

I love this author. The spice is on point. The make voice actor really gets on my nerves though. He sounds almost robotic and ruins the mood in the spicy scenes. The female voice actor is pretty good. I do not wish to listen to these in audible however because the male just ruins it for me. It’s a bit of a hassle but if I’m not reading I’ll use speechify instead of audible when Tristan is the male voice actor.

A Llittle Cheesy

I didn't love the male voice actor... especially when he did the female character. He always made her sound super whiny and cheesy. So much potential. I overall liked the story. I guess I prefer slightly darker books. With the amount of spicy I would expect overall adult theme. Book felt like a light hearted teen story with adult sex scenes.
