Publisher's Summary

Darn it, a man has his pride and a caribou of a certain majestic presence - all of which could wind up ruined if he abases himself to play a simple-minded reindeer in the town's Christmas parade.

No way was he wearing tinsel in his antlers.

Like heck was he sporting a red nose and pulling a sleigh.

But he changes his mind when he meets the woman in charge of the event.

Single mom, Crystal, is doing her best to offer her daughter the best Christmas ever. It's their first in Kodiak Point, and she's not about to let some vain jerk ruin it.

If playing dirty is what it takes...then bring on the Christmas games.

As Crystal and Kyle butt heads, they discover more than goodwill this holiday season. They're gifted with a second chance at love.

Hilarious story, well read performance

Kyle and Crystals story is hilarious, sexy, and seriously full of the feels. The story, centered around a Christmas parade, had me alternately laughing, irritated, and saying “awww” as Crystal (and Gigi!) changed Kyles mind about playing Rudolph... and the action thrown in only served to keep my attention on the story and on the edge of my seat. Logan McCalisters voice was perfect for this story, animated when needed, but deep and sexy at other times too. Awesome job all around.

An Arrogant Caribou soften by love

He he he, Kyle just doesn't want to wear tinsel in his majestic rack. He is a Caribou for crying out loud - not a reindeer. He could not believe that anyone could request this from him. He was just too arrogant.
Crystal had to run and hide once again from an ex-boyfriend. She had to make this Christmas perfect for her little girl Gigi. Even if she had to date the arrogant Caribou so that he can be Rudolph the red-nose reindeer. Let's not pay attention to the awareness she felt for him.
Kyle finds Gigi expectantly and grows protective over her. Let's just say that Gigi's super power was to bring Kyle down a few notches from his arrogant self. And she made the relationship between mommy and Kyle a bit easier.
I love the way that Kyle goes from this very arrogant alpha male, to a protective and soft marshmallow alpha male. Talk about being wrapped around a little girl's pinky. But touch those that he loves and WATCH OUT!!!
The book is great, but it is made even better by hearing them come to life. Loved it.

Fun Christmas Story

A single Mom who is going to do everything she can to make Christmas special for her little girl meets a stubborn Caribou who doesn't want to be Rudolph in the town's Christmas Parade.

Crystal is literally my hero in this book - but how can you not love a Mom that is doing whatever she can for her little girl. Kyle definitely steps up though. He falls for this little girl and wants to do whatever he can to be her Knight. I really enjoyed the interactions between Kyle and Mimi. Then you add the missions that he has and you can't help but chuckle.

If you want a lighthearted story that is sure to just bring a smile to your face and you enjoy Shifters you will definitely enjoy this one.

Logan McAllister isn't my favorite narrator but he did a great job with this one. I can't wait to listen to more stories from Kodiak Point.

Heartwarming Christmas Story

Caribou's Gift is the fourth book (novella) in the PNR shifter Kodiak Point series. I have read all the books in this series, and its off-shoots, and loved them all. Caribou's gift is a wonderful holiday addition to the series.

Kyle is a former military caribou shifter in the town of Kodiak Point. Crystal is a single mom, new to the town and hiding from her past, who needs a Rudolph for the town's Christmas parade. Kyle is just the shifter needed for the job, but his pride is standing in the way of making her little girl smile.

The story: I really enjoyed the story and it had me smiling throughout. Kyle has an interesting personality quirk which makes everything a mission. He knows what he wants (Crystal) and is relentless in that particular mission. He is also a very loving man who can make a traumatized little girl trust, smile, and laugh. Crystal is very protective of her daughter and her own heart, but can't fight it when her Kyle lets her daughter wrap him around her little finger. Eventually Crystal's past come hunting, and we get to find out why a caribou's rack is better than that of a moose (but don't tell Boris!).

The audible: The narrator did a good job of having a different tone for the different characters - it was especially fun listening to him portray little Gigi. I wish he didn't pause in strange places while narrating, but he did a much better job with this book than I've heard him do with others. I REALLY had been looking forward to hearing him sing the song in the beginning and end of the book, but alas, he just spoke it. Overall, he did a really good job with this one.

Loved the narration with this book.

Loved the narration with this book. Mr McAllister just made it sound so much fun and I could just see Kyle, his expressions, his poses and his antics. He had him down to a T. Even my husband was listening and asking questions so I had to keep pausing the story to answer him. Cyrstal is great and Gigi was such a cutie. Loved the book and have read it at least 5-6 times but will be listening to the audible version for years to come. BOOK REVIEW I don’t often give 5 stars but this book deserves them. The first few lines in this book say it all. But do you recall the most vain ex-soldier of all. Kyle is just wonderful in this book, he is just so endearing and weird about everything and talks in mission terms to himself to help him cope with things. His mission list was so funny. Crystal is a cougar shifter with a daughter Gigi who wraps Kyle around her little finger and sooths his hurt heart. The banter and snark between Crystal and Kyle was the best ever. His carry on about being Rudolph was so funny. Loved the whole Christmas theme and the Epilogue was superb. This series has to be re-read time and time again for the sheer enjoyment each book brings.

When Kyle find out that Rudolph has passed on the other side of the world and the Alpha of the town asks Kyle to take a place on Santa’s sled Kylie is ready to say no no . Kyle finds out that there is another in charge of the festival and putting the sledge team together is Crystal. Kyle asks who is Crystal and once he catches a glimpse of Crystal he says wowsy wow .

Crystal has a little problem her little girl believes in Santa. How will Crystal tell her no Santa this yr unless Kyle changes his mind.

I keep this one on my device at all times!

I have both the ebook and audiobook now. I will always keep a copy of this on my device for days when my depression hits hard. I love watching Kyle become a "knight in tattooed armor" for little Gigi.

Bad boy with an attitude melts when meeting a cute scared little girl. And she just happens to be the daughter of the woman who just caught his attention.

Kyle decides these girls need him.

Awesome read!

Oh Kyle, Kyle, Kyle. You never stood a chance. He was a goner from page one. I loved his relationship with GiGi. They were so darned cute. Logan did an excellent job narrating. Little girls voice and all. This has the best HEA. It's part of Kodiak Point series, book 4, but can be read as a standalone just fine. It will make you want to read about the others though. Grab this, and the others, and enjoy reading about a caribou playing Rudolph to win over GiGi and Crystal.
