My Favorite in the Hockey Series

This book was so good. The narration was just perfect. This is one of those love stories you can go back to on a bad day, not too long, wonderful characters, it just brings you up. I purchased this one first. I much prefer this narrator. I thought she did a top notch job. The story develops at just the right pace. Thank you.

Chick lit to the core, and I couldn't get enough !

I got wrapped up in this story really quickly and was thoroughly entertained all the way through!

Ok story with a less than ok narration...

I thoroughly dislike when producers change the narrator in a series, especially when the narrator was as good as Susan Bennett. The narrator really made the story less enjoyable. And worst of all Kathe Mazur did not listen to the previous books because she mispronounced the last name Savage and the city of Medina. The story was just ok. The ending was a bit rushed. It had many similarities to the first book in the series Simply Irresistible (which was a lot better).

This is book six in the Chinoocks Hockey Team series. Each book can be read as a stand alone but in case you like to follow series in order it goes like this:
- Simply Irresistible (not available as audiobook) which is one of my favorites in the series.

- The problem with Valentine's Day (not available as audiobook)

Yes. It is a good light listen. Great for commuting.

Fast, great read!

First time reading Rachel Gibson, but will certainly will read more. I absolutely love romance stories and am able to listen to at least three a week.

Pretty Good Story.

A nice light read. Which is what I needed after so many heavy hitters. Perfect for a hot summer day by the pool.
Very enjoyable.

What did you love best about Any Man of Mine?

I liked the "Any Man of Mine" theme...and all the characteristics Autumn wanted in her man.

What did you like best about this story?

The relationship between Connor (the son) and his parents. I also thought Vince the brother could lead to another book in this series...or a Navy Seal series.

What does Kathe Mazur bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Hot, sexy voice for Sam LeClaire. There were times I had to replay missed phrases but overall she made him sound really decadent.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

something about heat on the ice and steam after dark...

I've enjoyed this series. I'd like to see Audible acquire rights for the earlier books.

A Stale and Overdone Story

This book wasn't horrid, but it wasn't more than okay either. Rachel Gibson didn't convince me of Sam's turnaround from a self-centered absentee father to whatever he was at the end. I'm all for redemption arcs, but this felt like a steep ascent without the much-needed foundation for such a thing. Autumn came off as stale to me, and she seemed to defy her characterization at times. The story was your run-of-the-mill romance story that you've heard a thousand times. If you're game for 1,001, go for it.

The narration matched everything else and was okay.

I recommend this if it's cheap to obtain or for fans of the author.

Needs another narrator

Book is good. Narrator can only do her voice. The guys all sound alike. Even the child. And they aren’t good I think when u sample a book the narrator should do the person she loves voice.

Easily the least interesting in the series...

The story was too slow and trite. I enjoyed the other books in the series much better.
