Started it all

I originally got this book in a paranormal romance box of books off of Ebay. I was hooked. the fact I own the paper and the audio of this book should speak to how much I love it and Kresley Cole as an author.

Narrator makes this book worth it.

In my listening opinion a good narrator could read a cereal box and make me enjoy it. This guy's got it.

Amazing start to my favorite series!

Love this series, narrator and characters! You will be hooked. And my favorite part is no two (stories/ books) are alike, even though it follows a cast a characters. Read this series, you won’t regret it!! Actually, you might if you have a lot to get done, because it will become an obsession!

The first book of the Immortals After Dark series rates at the top of my list of excellent stories read by great narrators.

What did you like best about this story?

I love that the IAD series is set in a contemporary world, just below the radar of humanity.

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

Where do I start? There isn't a voice or an accent he can't do. He is THE sexiest narrator I've ever listened to, and I've listened to scores of audio books.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Uh, mostly it made we want to keep a cold bottle of water nearby. However, yes, I did laugh and cry. When such a great male narrator can bring a sensuous paranormal romance to life, you just hold on for all you're worth.

I've already read the entire IAD series in paperback and ebook forms. It is one of the best ever written in this genre. Now I'm listening to the audio versions. Robert Petkoff is a rare find in the world of romance narrators. Lovers of erotic romance stories shouldn't miss this opportunity to hear him read A Hunger Like No Other.

The series is sexy, intelligent, clever, adventurous, romantic, and suspenseful. I love the world Lara Adrian wove around her characters.

oh what a wolf

I have listened to this about 5 times it is my I can over come anything book . my love can create marceal book it keeps you in suspenses and is fast moving but Ms Coaled books always are but the love these two find is what we all want it is friendship he gets the joke even if no one else does she is always at his back going we have this no one or nothing is as important as the other that is why this book is so grate it makes you want to grab you're someone with both hand's and refuses to let go.

I listen to this book every time I am in a slump or I just need a pick me up. I love this book and Kresley Cole and the Narrator Robert Petkoff SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!! This is the perfect blend of my favorite paranormal subject "werewolves" plus my favorite accent "Scottish" plus strong sassy Herorine. The Narrator does a perfect job of accents and female/male voices. Kresley Cole is my favorite author but this is my favorite of her books!! There is also lots of spice if you know what I mean!!!

Amazing plot, narration, and characters

This was one of my all-time favorite books! I couldn’t put it down! The descriptions, action scenes, and sexual scenes were amazing and I would recommend this book to everyone! You will not regret it! The Scottish accents are so spot-on and so dreamy!
