Great book except for the virtual voice
I'm really into this genre and I thought the writing was great, the story was unique and kept me engaged. The virtual voice is why I took away some stars though. I have a pretty good imagination and was able to conjure up the feelings that were lacking in the awkward narration. I think this is worth a try, even if you're against fake narration.

Great story
While the AI voice dragged at points, it didn't take away from the story. The main characters were well developed and the listener identifies with them, but even the secondary characters resonated.

Very Stephen King like!
The automated voice does not have as much inflection at a good reader, but it’s better than a poor reader. I like Stephen King, and bet if you like Stephen King you will like this book as well.
