Publisher's summary

There’s an empire to topple, a tyrant to kill, and revenge to be had.

They’ve taken everything from him. Now Jerry and Chewy are headed to Niagara Falls to take out the wasteland’s greatest villain once and for all. But The Librarian isn’t the only one looking for revenge. Several other post-apocalyptic nomadic warriors have experienced Invcitus’ horrors firsthand and are in town to find vengeance. The Bookkeepers have lived under the tyrant’s iron fist for far too long. They’re well informed, organized, and ready to strike.

Mr. Christopher is heading back to town with one less hand and a whole new reason to kill The Librarian. Coy has been beaten, battered, and forced to eat his friend as bacon. And, now he’s looking to settle the score.

But, Invictus didn’t get to the top of the post-apocalyptic pecking order by being easy to kill.

Catch all the revenge, retribution, and comeuppance the wasteland has to offer in Revenge of the Apocalypse, the fourth book in the Duck & Cover Adventures.

It’s the end of the world as you've never known it.

Can’t wait for book 5

I hated the way book three ended, but other than that I have really enjoyed this series. I love that I get to laugh out loud but then be right back into the story. Just a lot of nonsensical fun.

I just don't want it to end...

Look, I purchased the first book in the series on a whim... I purchased the second book because I loved the first. I purchased the third book because the first two were so amazing... and I purchased the fourth in the sole hope that there will be a fifth, sixth, and seventh book to follow.

This series has been fantastic along every step of the way and if you're here reading reviews on the fourth book - you probably know this already. So stop reading and get it. It's absolutely worth it.

What a ride!

For a series that started out completely humorous, this story has smoothly transitioned to irreverent action adventure.

What began as Monty Python meets Mad Max and Terry Pratchett has become Mad Max meets John Wick, with an undercurrent of Terry Pratchett.

Definitely looking forward to more adventures. Maybe even full length novels instead of novellas too.

Phil Thron puts on an excellent performance once again, and he nails the timing perfectly for all the comedic elements. Bravo Zulu once again, Phil.

Simply the best

Phil Thron brings characters to life like no one else, and Benjamin Wallace crafts those characters in a way that seems to give Mr. Thron the ability to bring them out of the audio and into a world of your own.

Well done all around. About to start up the next book. Keep it up, all.

Excellent Series

This series combines the badassery and flippancy no other post apocalypse book has ever attempted.
It’s a great read and I enjoyed every minute.
This isn’t a how-to (unless you’re really in to a quick end) and it doesn’t deal with any real-world situations.
What it does is take the reader on an adventure that is punctuated with sarcasm and a complete lack of decorum.
Quite simply - it’s a hoot.
John Wesley Rawles he’s not. And that’s not a bad thing. This author is a spectacular storyteller and the narration is top shelf.
Enjoy it!!!!
