" I go where you go"

I’m a little overwhelmed by the depth of this final book in this amazing series.
Many, many moments made me stop and listen just so I didn’t miss a word, and emotion that I sincerely felt.
Maddie and Tyler, have made leaps and bounce in moving past their heartbreak and grief in this book.
It made me happy that two tortured souls that thought they would never find peace finally allow themselves a glimmer of hope for their future.
Don’t misunderstand, it’s no easy ride for either of them just yet, many more twist and turns lay ahead.
And let’s not forget they are one steamy and sinful duo, and that remains true as you will see from the start of this book... LOL
Tyler is still as funny and smoking hot, the dude cracks me up, he had me laughing from start to finish.
The narrator Ava & Tad/Johnathan, once again offered us once hell of a performance.
Wonderful series that is beautifully written and outstanding performance by the narrators.

WOW.. IMO IT DOESN’T COME BETTER THAN THIS

Julie and Johnathan have truly written something special with this amazing four book series.. it’s utterly unique, sexy as sin, passionate and romantic, angst drama and suspense filled and each and every book is 100% enjoyable, compelling, entertaining and addictive. From the first book to the last, the range of feels within each are breathtaking, the twists are torturous wonders, the characters and storyline are multi-layered and deep.. and the banter is free-flowing perfection. Then there’s the hero and heroine’s lol inner monologues/dialogues (which I’m not usually a fan of).. but these mental musings are so humorous, amusing and insightful and I longed for more. The vast character development along their rollercoaster four book journey was mesmerizing and it led them into becoming the people they were always meant to be. Before the visible and invisible scars, before tragedy had struck, before duty had been served, before the years of hurt and rejection, before the loss of loved ones.. and before life-threatening danger. Forgiveness, understanding, a soul-to-soul bond.. and a sigh-worthy toe-curling love would eventually lead these soul mates into the beautiful calm waters of a HEA.. but they endured white-knuckle waves, raging seas, shark infested waters and a tsunami of feels before reaching them.

From Maddie and Tyler’s introduction in book 1, you learn of their very different lifestyles, their damaged haunted souls, their bitter and broken backstories, their beliefs and their fortuitous first meeting. And, while their heated attraction, seismic chemistry, invisible bonds and panty-melting sexy times pull them closer and closer, Fate, Destiny, Karma.. (and maybe even God himself) are all solemnly shaking their heads, waggling their forefingers from side to side in negative admonishment and collectively warning them and the listener to beware.. because there will be no happy ending for Maddie and Tyler until the last few chapters of book 4.

Worth a credit? One thousand x YES.. binge-worthy listening at its absolute finest.. each book leaves you craving the next and there’s no wonder it’s going to be made into something compelling for tv. Stupendous writing, talented authors, a well-paced flawless and unique plot line, twists and hooks, suspenseful and tension-filled drama, sensual passion-filled romance and some very hot sex scenes. And the entire dual POV series was stunningly brought to life by two well-loved narrators whose voices created the magic that mezmerized.. from the dusk of broken yesterdays, through the highs and lows of uncertain tomorrows.. and on to the new dawn of endless possibilities.. they captured, crafted and conjured every emotional scene.

Best writing partnership ever! Loved the series!

I have never written a review before. However, I felt compelled to write this one. I first, fell in love with JA Huss and the Rook an Ronin Series, from there The Company and, then on audible it was difficult to follow the order of the spin offs, but that was ok. As Julie says in The End Of Book Shit, they can be read out of order. From there I went on to the Mr. Series and she, somewhere along the line started talking about awesome Johnathan McClain. I first fell in love with her and I’m now in love with both of you! I’m even in love with Johnathan’s wife! How could you not be, with how he speaks about her in all of his end of book shits. That really makes you special, Jonathan! I LOVE that you both take the time to add THE END OF BOOK SHIT to every book. It gives so much insight and reflection to the story, the process( which was amazing to learn about), and also it makes each and every book so much more special to get to know and understand your viewpoint as well as a feeling, even if it’s not real, a little bit like we know you and like you and want you to do well!! Thank you for taking the time to write them and for writing them honestly and without editing!

All four books were amazing. I could just give you, as Tyler would, 5 stars and say I loved it and be done. Like I said, this is my first review ever written, but you and the books deserve so much more so, I’ll give it my best shot!

I love that, obviously, it’s a love story! I love that no matter how many book Julie writes, and she says she struggles, and now how you have been a huge help in all areas, as well as this area, the sex scenes, one of my favorites, they are original, hot, sexy, explosive and when needed totally romantic and in this series the type of sex or love making can almost be so intense that it’s almost an out of body experience! I can almost feel like I am there experiencing it with them sometimes! You are both amazing at that!! Please keep up whatever process and struggle you go through! It’s worth the phenomenal results you get!! You do such an amazing job!!

So far my review was really for the authors and reader. Now for the readers.... this is not your everyday love story. It’s so much more. It’s about how people in everyday life struggle and get stuck. It made me want to be a better person. It’s about the two main characters Tyler and Maddie both whose lives have gone off track from loss, loneness and different other Life struggles. They knew each other as kids and when, Tyler’s best friend, Scottie, which was Maddie’s big brother dies as a hero hot shot firefighter. They both have difficulty dealing with life. Maddie feels the one who can help her deal Is Tyler, who was in the Military and has already suffered so much loss, that this one is the final straw that has him withdraw from everyone. Not even understanding that Maddie or anyone could possibly need him because of his own self loathing he stays away for too many years. Maddie ‘s parents move away to another country and she is left alone to try to pick up the pieces with no purpose and pure loneliness in her life, feeling abandoned by everyone, especially, the only man she has ever loved, since childhood, Tyler.

These books have great suspense, with so many surprises and things that go wrong or maybe just bad luck. It’s definitely a suspense and thriller! Maddie and Tyler are two struggling, suffering people who have really always loved each other in some way. Although, when she realizes it’s him initially, after not seeing him for so many years and not recognizing him behind a full beard, she has so much anger and hatred for his abandonment. He in return, I think , hates himself even more and almost succeeds, accidentally, maybe-maybe not, at killing himself in a fire.

After a lot intense action, suspense and surprises. Together they help heal each other, with mental health professional help as well. The BIGGEST part though is that they find salvation with, and through their love and support for each other and as Tyler says, not in a co-dependent way, but a healthy way. They are both searching for a similar purpose in life! To help people in some way.

Up until the very end their is such amazing, original, explosive, intense and emotional sex and love making! It was great! I loved that he always wanted her, no matter how inappropriate the situation was. It was actually funny! He just couldn’t help it! And her reaction to it was perfect! She just loved him! No matter what!

Up until the very end there was salvation, not just for them, but for so many people that were important to them. Some of their friends found salvation many years before and helped them find their salvation. Other friends needed Tyler and Maddie to help them to find their salvation!
Sadly, some friends were lost along the way, but you come to think that they found their salvation in their own way! So, love , salvation and helping others are the feelings I got from this series! Wow! What a great message to get from a book! I can’t wait till I have time to listen to the series again! I spent hours everyday listening to this series! I’m sad it’s over!

This series was so totally intense, emotional, sad, happy, wonderful, sexy, hot, original, suspenseful, hopeful, thoughtful, it makes you want to be a better you and help people in the world and be a kind person! There is so much more, but I’m not a writer and I feel I can’t even give Johnathan and Julie, the authors and Tyler and Maddie, the main characters or the overall series the phenomenal review or the justice it truly deserves. In today’s super busy, stressful lifestyle, I choose to listen to audio books, rather than watch most TV or most radio while in the car or doing house chores. So I listen to a lot of audio books. Probably, about 4 audio books per week for the last maybe 3-4 years. I have a huge audio library! The point is, that with all those audio books, I’ve enjoyed most of them and I have a lot of favorites. Some I’ve even listened to more than once, but I’ve never enjoyed a series or books or authors so much that I have ever felt compelled to write a review. This is my first! I think that says something right there alone!

I just had to let you , Johnathan and Julie, and you, the readers, know how amazing they truly are as writers and how phenomenal this series and most likely anything either of them write, together or as individuals will be!!

Thank you for all your stress and struggles! It’s worth it! Your fans love you and your books!
Johnathan and Julie, especially, THE END OF BOOK SHIT!! Don’t ever stop writing them! I look forward to each and every one! I wish you both all the success in all your endeavors together and as individuals! You are both so creative and talented and I know that everything you do will be successful!!

smh

all I can say after listening to these 4 books is...wow! I loved Tyler so much. I personally love a man with a serious sense of humor and let me tell you, this guy had it all! And I loved Maddie who tried and failed so many times but never gave up! I mean, you always knew they'd be together at the end, but the road they traveled to get there was a long and winding one, and their journey was one of discovery for both of them and that's the best part! Julie and Jonathan, you are the best of the best and I can't wait for the next book! Also, the narration was the absolute cats meow! Ava and JM were awesome together!

Keep the magic JA and Johnathan Please!!!

I'm currently listening to end of book SH-- ! oh what a great ending. I can't say how this series put all of my human emotion through a roller coaster ride with every book. At first I wasn't so so on the 1st book. It was dark. Yet the humor kept me going. I'm so glad I did.
Ok when Tylor was getting his beard remove OMG I had to pause to seriously crack up. Tears in my eyes. So awesome!
All I have to say BRILLIANT !

Loved the characters - loved Tyler!

I liked this series and I loved the voices. This fourth book I thought was a little too preachy saying the same thing over and over again just in different words. The story kept me listening but there also wasn’t enough sex especially in book 3 & 4. Tyler was sooooo hottttt and I wanted more sex. But the story although far fetched was still good. It just needed more sex! I love the sex scene in the parents hotel room! Especially what Maddie found in her mother’s closet in the hotel room.

Yeah, NO!

The writing is mediocre at best and absolutely nothing happened in this story…but it’s free so…whatever. What I could not take, at all, was the lisp of the lady reader . I couldn’t get into the story because a visual of the microphone with spittle all over it kept popping up in my mind. I’ll skip anything from these authors and Ava Erickson from here on out.

ADHD, SEX AND USING THE LORD'S IN VAIN

Poor Tyler needs ADHD medication. But the worsed was USING THE LORDS NAME IN VAIN. Bad taste. And the sex, does not sell a book. Stuck to reality.

Loved series but it should've ended w book 3!

This final installment could've easily been a brief epilogue at the end of book three. This was a completely unnecessary waste of writing and listening. I was bored out of my mind but kept w it hoping something would eventually happen. Nothing did. Zzzzzzzz...

Great end to the series

Loved the last book of the series. It still had some drama, lots of steam, Tyler’s crazy thoughts and rumbling and we saw how the beginning of the rest of their lives happened as wrap up all their past and move forward. The book read as a massively long epilogue and all got sorted. Loved loved loved the heaven scenes, it was the best in the series, beautifully done and profound.
Great conclusion.

Funny point of view

I like the way you see everybody’s point of view and especially the way somebodies thoughts, we also can get to see a side of Vegas you don’t normally see. It was nice to see a side of Vegas that I’ve seen because I was there for work, not the usual. Normally people only show Vegas in a gambling light.

No 5 star bullshit

I don’t write many reviews because I don’t feel I can write well enough to do justice but listening to Tyler talk about 5 star bullshit reviews it made me think I owe it to these amazing authors to give it a go.

This series really hit me in the heart, from my personal loss and the tug of war within me hoping that heaven exists but not sure if I can truly believe.

With each book I fell for Tyler a little bit more. His inner and outer dialogue is hilarious and hope filled at the same time. This is a special gift that Jonathan & Julie have brought to life.

I laughed, grimaced, cried and got a bit hot under the collar.

Thank you for sharing your amazing craft with us.
I am sure that I will listen to this series again.

Life is ugly and beautiful. The people who are part of both parts are your people.

Big love

There is a heaven

I love the characters in this book. They were so real and the narration of the book made them feel more so. There is always something happening and the way they think about their predicament is revealing and interesting.
I have never believed in heaven. But the explanation given as part of this book , I can live with happily.
Thank you. I hope you write together for many years to come.

It’s obvious that Maddie and Tyler are better when they are together. They flounder when apart.
Tyler is like a cat, with nine lives. He keeps returning from death- how many times is this?

J A Huss always delivers a great story, great characters within her suspenseful romantic erotica. This is book 4 in a series where she has combined talents with Johnathon McClain to create a story which is so Huss plus more. Laugh-out-loud funny, heart-poundingly dangerous, made-me-weep moving and sexy as… well you know. So glad I gave theses books a read (audio is great too) Thankyou JH and JM
