Publisher's summary

He had it all. He lost it all. And all he wants now is a second chance.

RK Saber ran from tragedy five years ago when his car went over the side of a mountain in a prom-night crash. Consumed by guilt, he walked away from Juilliard and morphed into Rock, front man for the global rock-band sensation Son of a Jack. Five members. Five best friends. Five rising stars burning so bright, they had to know it couldn't last.

When tragedy strikes again and the band goes from five to two, RK is sentenced to...home. Back to the place where all his nightmares started. Back to the memory of all the things he lost. Back to the reality he refused to face before he left.

The Vetti twins were identical in all ways but two. Melanie was insane, and Melissa was not. One twin was killed on prom night five years ago, and one twin was not. And now that RK has returned home, the twin left standing has quite a story to tell. Could she really be the girl he thought he'd lost forever? Or is Melanie just up to her same old tricks?

Rock is a rock-star romantic suspense by the New York Times best-selling master of twist, JA Huss.

AN INGENIOUS & ACTION PACKED CAN OF WORMS

JA Huss has truly outdone herself with this incredibly twisted, tense, suspenseful and mind blowing story... a story where you just don't know what's coming next, what secrets are going to be revealed, in which direction the story is going to take you and where it will end up. There are so many twists, turns, surprises, secrets and underlying questions that your mind is constantly trying to figure out the clues... or even the answer to just one of them.

The Publisher's Summary said enough and I'm not going to go into greater detail about the story other than to warn you to buckle up tight and hold on because you're in for an overwhelming and intense roller coaster ride. A ride that takes you through Rock's personal Hell where his fractured, tortured and broken mind just doesn't know what, or who, to believe or trust.... and neither will you. You'll question Rock's sanity as this skilled Author teases and plays with yours.

You can count on Sebastian York's vocal ability as he narrates the story with ease and expertize as usual and it's entirely told from Rock's confused POV. There's some hot sex scenes, good secondary characters, a kaleidoscope of emotions to endure, romance and the original and gripping storyline reunites two lovers, two soul mates, two kindred spirits.... or does it??

Worth a credit? If you think this listen is going to be just another Rocker romance then you're heading for a huge shock because JA Huss has spun a web so intricate and intense you just daren't breathe, move or relax until the Epilogue. Creditworthy - oh Hell Yeah.

OMG!! JA HUSS!!

OMG 321 what?! 321 is the best book I've read this year. Or so I thought. This is my new book of the year. This book had me squirming in my seat. Due to the way this book is written I won't give out any specifics, but holy hell!! This book is worth the cash if you don't have the credit.

Of course Sebastian York did a fantastic job as usual.
Listen, you will not be disappointed.

4 Rock Stars

First why did I wait so long to reading this book? Second I think I went through 5 stages of confusion...is that a thing? Well it is to me, so yeah, let’s go with it.

My 5 stages were as follows Shock! What?? Why?? Who?? And WoW!!
Yeah this book had it all I swear I spent half the time come up with theories in my head.

Right away I was like I want to know who Rock. RK. Rowan Kyle is, but it was more than that. It just seemed like something was missing…boy howdy…was there things missing. But your intrigued you want to know why…what…who…like I said before all the stages.

Then we have Missy, and Melanie…and you get a whole lot of confusion right there. I think I might still be in the…huh...category but that wasn’t one of my stages haha.
I love that she was part of his past and his present, that she was trying just as hard as he was to find out who they were individually as well as together, if there was going to be a “together.” How much they had to fight to get to the answers.

I know this isn’t making a whole lot of sense because I don’t want to give away spoilers but it was a well written book that had me from the beginning to the very end. Even with all my theories. :p

Narrator…. Umm Hello Sebastian York, one of my top 5 narrators of all time! He brings Rock to life. He gives him a voice you can’t get enough of. Smooth and Sexy, just how you would think a rock stars voice should sound.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Once again JA Huss gives us a masterpiece

With every new book I listen to by JA Huss I fall more in love with her as an author. Her writing is like no other I have come across. Rock is a twisted tale of love, loss, deception, and suspense. Each time you think you have things figured out the story twists and you realize you had no idea. You will be guessing until the end, and that's what makes it so great. You can't stop listening! It's a perfect combination of love/sex/suspense topped off with the sexiest male narrator out there! A perfect 5* combination

Great book. I'm making my way through J.A. Huss's audiobooks and this one is at the top of the list for me. I love that this author writes such different books. This story has many twists and turns, you will spend most of the books wondering what actually is going on. I can't say much without spoiling things so I'll just say this book will grab you for the first chapter and you won't be able to put it down!

Great narration, Sebastian is God as always :)

Fantastic...

I love this book , it's a bit different for Julie A Huss but evetything that girl writes is a must read! She can write like nobody's business! And Sebastian York has that dark, smokey voice that makes you feel like he's whispering naughty things in your ear. I could listen to him forever. A fantastic duo for a great book!

Good story made better by Fantastic narrator

I read "3 2 1" right before this one, so I can't help but compare. This is a good story, though a little slow at times, and like "3 2 1," it has good sex scenes. (If you haven't read the former, I urge you to, as it is more compelling and the sex is amazing.) As always, Sebastian York delivers as the main character, Rock (short for Rowan Kyle). His voice makes me happy.

A new take on a rock star read/listen

I thought this was going to be a typical bad boy good girl book and I almost didn't get past the first couple of chapters. I kept going because of Sabasten York (I always love his voice and inflection). I was so glad I did. The growth of each character was good and the plot grew and made you pay attention. I wanted more in the end. I wanted book 2 to see what happens next in the life of the people of this small town and the "new band"

I liked the narrator

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

probably not. It was a GOOD book but just didn't quite make the mark for me. I know a lot of people loooved it but it just seemed like random stuff was thrown together

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

ummmm that's it?

What does Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has a good voice for a "sexy" male part

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

not really :(

Any additional comments?

it was a good book but the only character I even cared about was Rock and the ideas in the story were good but it just sort of went flat for me :(

I feel a book hangover coming

That was incredible. I was listening while I was supposed to be sleeping last night and while I was supposed to be working today. I just couldn't put it away. Sebastian York was amazing as always but the story....wow. I was trying to figure out all through what really happened and I got it wrong repeatedly. Awesome last sentence!
