wonderful start to a series

I loved the dual POV, both in writing and the narrators. The plotline was interesting and intricate enough to keep my attention piqued the entire time and I can't wait to continue the series. I already love the MCs, and the author left so much room for growth.

12/31/22 HOLY SHITAKE MUSHROOMS!!! What an amazing way to say good bye to 2022. I loved reading the book, but listening to the audio just added something special. I cannot wait to get the listen to the Pack Betrayal. .

I can't say enough good things about this fantastic story. This is one of the few books that, when I closed it, I contacted the author begging for the next book. Pack of Secrets isn't even out yet!!!!! I want, no I need, MORE!!!!!!

The author has totally nailed the paranormal storyline. She blew me away with tantalizing teasers and the unexpected, lots and lots of the unexpected. This is not your normal shifter book. This book is not what I expect from the average storyline. It is so much better.

There was a war between the humans and magical people. The humans and magical people still do not get along at all. The pack now lives beneath the ruins of Seattle making much of their money as thieves separated from others by magical barriers. You can't just walk through the barriers. Travel between locations is thrilling, costly and scary all at the same time.

The daughter of the pack alpha, Grace, is sent out frequently on jobs facing many challenges. As a shifter, unable to shift, her life has been hard. Being an omega puts her life at risk from others in the pack. She will do anything to prove herself to her father and pack. ( Just saying, I really, really wanted to reach in the book and teach that man a lesson or ten.) She wants to believe deep down he cares. Her heart is kinder than mine.

He sends her on a mission that is supposed to help her shift. This is just the latest of many attempts to "fix" her. How can an object help her shift when nothing else has? What is her father up to? Her latest job gave me goosebumps.

It was so mysterious. The challenges were many. The risks were extreme. It seemed hopeless. She finally finds the object. It seemed to be calling to her. It opened up for her and triggered the guardian of the object. Then things get really interesting.

Pack of Secrets is one of those books you won't want to put down. Pack of Secrets is one of those books that you will still think about days, weeks later. Pack of Secrets is one those books that will have you screaming for more and offering to clean the author's house so she has more time to write.
