Publisher's summary

When you discover the world is a computer program, and you figure out that by altering the code you can time travel and perform acts that seem like magic, what can possibly go wrong?

Pretty much everything.

Just ask Brit, who has jumped around in time with such abandon that she has to coexist with multiple versions of herself. Now, Brit the Elder finds that her memories don't match Brit the Younger's. And there's the small matter of a glitch that's making Brit the Elder's body fritz out. Brit the Elder's ex-boyfriend Phillip wants to help her, but he'll have to keep it secret from his current girlfriend, Brit the Younger, who can't stand her future self.

Meanwhile, Martin is trying to protect Phillip from a relentless attacker he somehow hasn't noticed; Gwen is angry because Martin accidentally proposed to her; Gary tries to help the less fortunate, with predictably disastrous results; and an old nemesis might have to be the one to save them all.

In Out of Spite, Out of Mind, our fearless wizards discover the biggest glitch in their world's program may well be themselves.

kinda of disappointing

it took my least favorite character and put her front and center and amplified her arrogance and the rest of the cast follows suit be being a bunch of jerks.

A disappointment after four winners

I enjoyed the first book in the series because of the clever explanation for magic and the humorus nerd culture references. The narration was amazing and it stayed within a PG rating.

After that there weren't as many big new ideas but I greatly enjoyed the books 2 and 3. Book 4 was also good but I really didn't care for this one. Long sections of book 5 were just bizarre and not interesting. I kept expecting it to turn around right up until the terrible ending.

An acceptable story ( spoilers abound)

Another fun romp through the carefree and fun world of magic and mischief!

As far as this story goes I enjoyed almost all the plot lines with the exception of Brit and Phillip. "Mad" Brit purposely and deliberately ruined the relationship between her younger self and Phillip utilizing a llie based on nothing but her anger over his incorrect beliefs.

much weaker than all the other books

I think I am going to act like this book did not happen. It had very little plot and was not thought out.

nothing interesting

I didn't feel like any of the characters had any personal growth. this whole book seems kind of frivolous.

Love this series

Another enjoyable series. Very funny, light hearted. Just a nice listen. I like Meyer’s work a lot and Daniels is the perfect partner.

I love this world!

I read some of the reviews of this book before I bought it. People complaining that they don't like books 4 and 5. This is the world that this creator has made. He's writing it as it comes to him. If you have a problem with the way it's written go write your own book. It's not as easy to do as people think. Fanfiction is much easier taking a world you love and making up your own story. Creating a world from scratch and abiding by the rules with in the world is amazing. Scott you're doing an awesome job. I started this series because it was a $2 book on Amazon Kindle one time. But I buy every book in audio form now because I love it and go through it again and again because I love all the characters. I'm grateful for Tyler and Jimmy and Gary and Murphy and Miller and Gwen and Britt and Philip and Martin Jeff and Roy. keep on writing. And if this series ever ends keep writing new stuff. I just listened to run program. and it was awesome. I was rooting for the AI

Out of Spite, Out of Mind

Good story, likeable characters. Honestly one of the main characters gets shafted for no good reason, that was the only down side.

Wow

The ending game me goose bumps. I loved this book and listened to it over the course of 2 days. Great story telling from Mr. Meyer and another great performance from Mr. Daniels.
