The Dean

It was very cool to finally hear the VOICE of Robert Heinlein, who I've been reading for more than 20 years.

Obviously, not science fiction, but an interesting look at how he saw the REAL world....

Wow!

Not only is this a chance to hear the great Heinlein himself speak, but his words are thought provoking. A must listen.

It's Heinlein, need I say any more?

It may be short but I loved the essay. I loved his Juvenile fiction so it is a treat to hear his voice.

I believe Heinlein

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Although it is brief, it is also powerful.

What did you like best about this story?

Heinlein's voice and core message.

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

A wonderful footnote, I overwhelmed myself with Heinlein in my youth, slowly coming back to him. He is a giant and this brief note is a great reminder why.

Do you think Our Noble, Essential Decency needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No but it should be listened to regularly.

Any additional comments?

Only a snack for those devour audible.

Nothing unexpected if you know Heinlein

Worth the listen, but not earthshaking material.

The Voice of a Master

I have been reading Heinlein for 50 years and his writings provide a textbook on futurism and philosophy as fiction. I don't agree with everything he says, but hearing his voice was gratifying.
