Publisher's Summary

Everything changed the night our eyes met across the room. His green gaze upon me prickled my skin with uncustomary warmth while my peek beneath his cuff - of a riot of color on his wrist - sparked my insatiable curiosity. Tall and mysterious, Kader was a man whose secrets I longed to know.

Little did I realize that the night we met was only the beginning - the beginning to the end of the existence I knew.

What will happen as his assignment becomes our obsession?

From New York Times best-selling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new dark romance bringing us back to the same dangerous underworld as Secrets. You do not need to read the Web of Sin trilogy to get caught in this new and intriguing saga, Tangled Web.

Obsessed is book two of the Tangled Web trilogy which began with Twisted and will conclude with Bound

I’m obsessed with this series

Obsessed starts were Twisted leaves off, with an undeniable chemistry between Kader and Laurel. Tension is high as suspects come to light, twists and turns cause more intrigue, suspicion, but the chemistry continues to sizzle and Laurel is hit with a new revelation about Kader and Aleatha leaves me Obsessed wanting to know wtf is going to happen next in Bound?
Charlotte North and Jacob Morgan narrating a definite thumbs up.

Awesome!

When I listened to the first book I failed to realize it was part one of three. Therefore my review was most unfortunate and I apologize. I'm looking forward to book three with great anticipation.

A TANGLED WEB OF TWISTED THRILLS

Twisted, Obsessed and Bound is exactly how this very addictive trilogy affected me because, IMO, there’s no denying Aleatha Romig’s ability to write gripping thrillers. She creates intriguing multi-layered characters and describes sizzling chemistry you can almost feel.. and then injects passion and sweet sentiments in amongst smouldering sex scenes. This unpredictable suspenseful plot-line leaves tantalizing breadcrumbs for you to follow as the minefield of secrets, hints, revelations, twists and non-stop action delivers pulse-pounding hold-your-breath drama which keeps you on the edge of your seat. And, as I binge-listened to each delicious part, the wonderful narration brought the excitement, the feels and the flawed characters in this intricately woven storyline to life making each one a definite 5 star audiobook.

Worth a credit? Books 1 and 2 are free in the Audible Escape Package.. so yay :) which leaves book 3 which was (for me) definitely worth a credit.

Intense Romantic Suspense

Book 2 in the series doesn't disappoint. More suspense, action and romance as the plot unfolds. I can't wait to read the final book in the series.

I'm obsessively waiting for book 3

NORMALLY - I won't read a series unless all the audio books are out. I HATE waiting for even a week to have another part of the story revealed. As much as I really enjoyed both Twisted and Obsessed, which I thought was a duet, isn't, and the 3rd book isn't out in Audio yet and I'm very cranky! - so yes the cliff hanger continues.
Obsessed starts were Twisted finishes, Laurel learns her handsome kidnappers name is Kader. Despite the sexual tension between Kader and Laurel, he is sent to kill her but decides fake her death and find out who and why did they put a hit out on Laurel and her scientist research friends.
All the while Laurel learns Kader is someone that has been damaged from a serious PTSD incident. She struggles to learn more about him without him accusing her of trying to head-shrink him.
Despite the cliff hanger, it's a very good story and both Charlotte North and Jacob Morgan do a fantastic job on the personalities and their flaws in the story.

Will keep you going non-stop

This book is not a stand alone. Do not try to even listen to (or read) this book without having read Twisted or you will be so totally lost and will not have the full enjoyment that this wondrous story has. The author really keeps you on you feet guessing as to what is going to happen next. Sure there are a couple givens in the story but just when you think one thing, you discover that isn’t correct.
The narration by Charlotte North and Jacob Morgan adds to the mystery and intrigue of the story with how they are able to bring Kader and Laurel to life. It is easy to get lost in listening to them telling the story and visual the scene. I would love to say more but I’m afraid that if I do, I will be giving spoilers because there is so much involved in this story that it is impossible. Just know you will find this to be one story that is difficult to walk away from and do your best to patiently wait for the third book in the series.

More twists turns and surprises with this series!!

I am so engrossed with this series. The first book Twisted was just a snippet into this well written and interesting story. Kader and Laurel are learning more about each other as the story takes us back to Kadars past and the implications to the future. I really liked that Laurel is smart and surprises you with her incredible tenacity to figure things out with and about Kader and keep the story moving.
The narration by Charlotte and Jacob is definitely on point and I can't wait for the conclusion.
