I’m obsessed with this series

Obsessed starts were Twisted leaves off, with an undeniable chemistry between Kader and Laurel. Tension is high as suspects come to light, twists and turns cause more intrigue, suspicion, but the chemistry continues to sizzle and Laurel is hit with a new revelation about Kader and Aleatha leaves me Obsessed wanting to know wtf is going to happen next in Bound?

A TANGLED WEB OF TWISTED THRILLS

Twisted, Obsessed and Bound is exactly how this very addictive trilogy affected me because, IMO, there’s no denying Aleatha Romig’s ability to write gripping thrillers. She creates intriguing multi-layered characters and describes sizzling chemistry you can almost feel.. and then injects passion and sweet sentiments in amongst smouldering sex scenes. This unpredictable suspenseful plot-line leaves tantalizing breadcrumbs for you to follow as the minefield of secrets, hints, revelations, twists and non-stop action delivers pulse-pounding hold-your-breath drama which keeps you on the edge of your seat. And, as I binge-listened to each delicious part, the wonderful narration brought the excitement, the feels and the flawed characters in this intricately woven storyline to life making each one a definite 5 star audiobook.

Worth a credit? Books 1 and 2 are free in the Audible Escape Package.. so yay :) which leaves book 3 which was (for me) definitely worth a credit.

Awesome!

When I listened to the first book I failed to realize it was part one of three. Therefore my review was most unfortunate and I apologize. I'm looking forward to book three with great anticipation.

Underworld, secrets and a cliffy

While I enjoyed the story, I was not pleased by the cliffhanger…

Laurel Carlson is a (genius?) scientist whose work was stolen and a contract to kill her was set forth.

Enter
Kader! The assassin, decider of destinies who never let emotion lead…

But

His assignment goes wrong, he doesn’t complete it and becomes, you’ve guessed it Obsessed!

There’s nice story and we get to know about Kader in bits and pieces… I didn’t get the previous book and the cliffy kinda irritated me… I may or may not get the next book…

Is it worth it? Yes if you don’t mind cliffys… the story was good.

Looking forward to the next book....

This was the second book in the trilogy with Kader and Laurel. We are learning a little bit more of Kader's history and how exactly he has found himself involved with Laurel. Yes, he is quite heavy handed with his actions, yet somehow I don't seem to find myself that angry with him. Odd, I know.

I am interested though, in the whole back story and the "whys" of the reason behind the events happening and feel like I am learning events in an okay time frame. I am definitely VERY curious about Kader's back story.

I listened to most of this on audio and found that I enjoyed the narration of Charlotte North and Jacob Morgan. I'm looking forward to the next book as I have a feeling that all of the answers will be unveiled.

This was a really great listen. Can't wait until the next book. Such a great storyline so far.

Enjoying this trilogy…more to go for complete story…narration was great and included more of the male (Jacob Morgan 😍) POV…can’t wait to get into the next/conclusion

I enjoyed the story, and though the female narrator has a really clear voice and is easy to understand, her dramatic interpretation just doesn't compare to Jacob Morgan's (aka Zachary Webber).

Another book?

Although there was no indication at the end of the book, there was no ending! Is this another continuing story? I hate those!

So good

Things are heating up in this series and I don't just mean between our two main characters. We find out so much more about Kader and I was loving every moment of it. From his flashbacks giving us a look into his life, learning his relationship with Sparrow, and finding out why his personality changed so much. Laurel was really great as she was helping Kader investigate what was going on with her research, suspicions rise. and the chemistry builds between her and Kader. The narration was really great. Loved both narrators for this book that is explosive and just gets better and better.

The Tangled Web Trilogy is FANTASTIC! I loved Laurel and Kader. I loved the mystery, intrigue, and suspense. I also loved the brilliant storyline. But most of all... I loved that we got more of Sterling Sparrow! And last but not least I loved the amazing narrators for bringing the characters to life and making this an absolute must read/listen.
