Publisher's Summary

If you've ever seen your teenage crush 10 years later, and he turns out to be a complete jerk, then you know how Molly Ward feels.

The last time she saw Noah Griffin was the regrettable day that she decided to climb into his bedroom window and turn her unrequited crush into something more.

That day was bad enough, but things are about to get worse.

Noah has become one of the best football players in the country, and he's just landed on Molly's front step.

As a new addition to the Washington Wolves roster, Noah's presence is the key to Molly's promotion in the front office. The problem is Noah wants nothing to do with Molly, and his surly attitude is making her job very difficult.

But he's got another thing coming if he thinks Molly will be intimidated by one grumpy football player, no matter how much he hates being around her.

Once these two go head to head, their mutual dislike explodes into undeniable chemistry. But with what they have at stake, they just might detonate everything else along with it.

Sweet story, good narration

Both narrators did a really good job bringing the story to life. The narration was so good, I forgot I was listening and was able to lose myself in the story. This sweet story is about Molly who has made some impulsive decisions in the past that affected Noah. Molly and Noah were first introduced The Marriage Effect. In that book, Molly was a teenage girl with a crush on the older neighbor boy. Their pasts and family influences have effected who they have become. Their relationship is a slow burn and so sweet. Highly recommend!

sweet romantic story

I quite enjoyed this book. I've listened to the others in the 'effect' series which I also enjoyed. You don't have to have read them, just gives you a bit of character background. The book centres around the development of Molly and Noah's relationship after not seeing each other for 10 years. Theres a bit of drama but not too much. Also made a refreshing change that the sex scenes weren't overly descriptive. Don't get me wrong I like a hot sex scene but sometimes they can get a little boring and i skip them if I'm not in the mood for a 15 minute play by play of every move. This had the mix just right I think. Looking forward to Claire's story next

AMAZING

This was an amazing sports romance. The whole thing just makes you wish you had that kind of romance. The end of this book does have a small addition to it that can connect this book and the next book 'Faked' but both can be read as standalone books because they are both from different perspectives. That is only half of the epilogue though, the first half is still connected to the story. Definitely was not a let down and would recommend it to those who read the blurb and will think they will like it. Narration was also amazing and while the female narrator did have moments where she sounded very separate from what was being said, it didn't deter me from the book. Definitely an amazing story.
