Publisher's summary

"If you ever wondered how much better Sherlock would be if people could hurl hellfire at each other, well this one is for you." (Starburst Magazine on A Study in Brimstone)

Warlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson find themselves inconvenienced by a variety of eldritch beings, and the fact that one of them has goat legs. Christmas brings a goose that doesn't let being cooked slow him down, then they meet an electricity demon and discover why being a redhead is even trickier than one might imagine, and Holmes attempts an Irish accent. And naturally Moriarty is hanging around in some form or other.

Delightfully funny

G.S.Denning has really found his stride with Warlock and D. Watson. My husband kept wondering why I was chuckling.

Great!!

I laughed out loud several times, smiled the whole way through. Love these books! Something really nice and goofy to focus on when I get stressed out and overwhelmed. They help a lot.

Awesome!

Once again this duo brings together the perfect written word and masterfully narrated tale of Holmes and Watson!! I wish all of my books were narrated by Robert Garson! I can’t wait for the next Warlock misadventure!

christopher moore-like silliness

fir s t, i can never hear watson's voice if its not robert garson. having consumed stephen frey's excellent complete holmes tales, dennings hilarious spin is sublime. always makes me smile.

Another great installment

I love Sherlock Holmes reimagined, and this is my favorite. The cases are delightful, and I frequently revisit them,

The premise is hilarious and the narration is perfect,

Don’t sleep on this series. (As a side note, my favorite case in this series is The Three Apprentices)

Best Yet

This is the funniest of the series so far! Watson is the exasperated voice of reason but when he is unable to tell the story of one adventure, Holmes steps in and gives us an incredible peek inside the Warlock brain.

Witty and fun

A great twist on the original, I have not listened to the other books in this series - this is a great stand alone - however I am now going to go get the others because I had so much fun listening to this book!
