Great book!

This book was full of excitement and didn't seem to slow down at all. It was a great story and I enjoyed the narrator as well. Definitely recommend it. I know it's one of Dean Koontz's older books, but if you've never read any of his books before, this is a great place to get hooked.

Awesome audio-book

Great Sci-Fi story, with a small twist of romance. Strong female lead, that doesn't need the male lead to save her from everything. Enough sci-fi/romance for both male and female readers. Good solid story.

Lightening did strike!

What did you love best about Lightning?

I enjoyed the idea of time travel and defeating the Nazis, but I also enjoyed the closeness between the female leads.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lightning?

The return to the orphanage after the fire.

What about Christopher Lane’s performance did you like?

I think this was the first time I listened to him and he is a great listen. He did bring the story to life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Can lightening illumine the past?

THIS is why I listen to Koontz. Very entertaining

Any additional comments?

Absolutely one of the best Koontz ever wrote. Twists and turns, non stop action. Loved it. In Lightning, Koontz provides the fast paced, suspenseful storytelling he is known for, and well developed characters that you care about. The narration is excellent. I thought Christopher Lane did a fantastic job.

Why doesn’t audible listen to end product?

This book in and of itself is very good, what is not good is the narrator speaking in a German accent instead of a Russian accent. It’s so difficult to stay immersed in the story when the narrator is so poor.

Outstanding!

I am not surprised that Lightening didn't disappoint as Dean Koontz books never do. I was very surprised and delighted to find the performance absolutely fantastic! One of the best ever.
