Great in-between stories

Loved these glimpses of Kellen, Max and Rae. Good stories, and the narrator does a wonderful job with characters and intonation.

I love Kellen. She is such a strong character, and I love reading about her and Max. Plus, Rae is a hoot. Another great set of stories by Christina Dodd.

do not listen to these in order

Whoever engineered this did us no favors. The first book is #1.5 of the series. You need to listen to (.5) Hard to Kill, then (1) Dead Girl Running, then (1.5) Families and Other Enemies. Otherwise (since I trusted the recorded order) there are MAJOR spoilers for Dead Girl Running. As far as what should be the big reveal in DGR, I've know the big surprise since early in the book, very disappointing for your first time through a series! After (1.5) Families and Other Enemies move on to (2) What Doesn't Kill Her and (2.5) Hidden Truths. That's all the half books so far but as of today (3) Strangers She Knows has been out less than a year so that may change.

Pretty good

I liked it, but didn't really care for the narrator's voice much. I don't listen to a ton of audio books and would really have just preferred this piece of the story to come with the rest of the new book as one unit instead of audio then hardcover.
