Could have been so much better

The first of the book was awesome, vintage Dean Koontz. It was scary, and kept you on the edge of your seat wondering about the enemy...then it just got wierd. Overall it was a good read, just could have been better.

loved the complex character development. I could see the beginning of what might become Odd Thomas.

Starts great then goes off the rails before great ending

I really liked the first third of the book. Then it goes off track. But the ending saws it.
