AWESOME, whether you watch the show or not
What did you love best about Dead Until Dark?
Very close to the show, without being exactly the same. Enhances the experience, but doesn't muddle it. LOVED this.

My favorite series ever!
This is a great version of this book, the narrator does a fantastic job with all the characters. I have been listening to this series on my commute to and from work and I am actually looking forward to sitting in traffic just so I can listen!

Fantastic Read! Highly Addictive
Would you consider the audio edition of Dead Until Dark to be better than the print version?
Yes, I enjoyed the voices used, they added to the story.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot are interesting, suspenseful and entertaining. There are usually several things going on that are continued in other books.
Which character – as performed by Johanna Parker – was your favorite?
Sookie was my favorite of course, but there are sooooo many others that it makes it a hard choice. Who wouldn't love "Bubba"? He always made me smile.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
To write a fantasy story that includes many fairy-tail personalities was ingenious. The loves scenes were masterfully written.

This should come with a warning - "Highly Addictive!" You'll want to listen to all of them all, and each one has captured my undivided attention.

not quite midnight crossroads
I loved the Midnight books and have actually re-listened to them. I rarely do that. This was good for a sale purchase, but I won't use a credit on the next in series.

Sneaky Audible Books
I don't like vampire books, but when Audible had an offering of "first book in a series" at an incredibly inexpensive price, of course I bit. Sneaky audible books. It's all their fault that I'm now hooked on Sookie Stackhouse vampire mysteries. These books are excellent. I didn't fall asleep at all, which I'm prone to do at times. Now I will have to buy all of the series just to find out what's going on. I highly recommend these books. But warning: be careful when Audible has another offering such as this, you may get hooked too. So enjoy this book, I certainly did. And thanks Audible, keep up the good work.

Overall... entertaining.
I was a huge fan of the TrueBlood series on HBO. This novel follows the first season almost perfectly, which is what I want to hear personally. The narration is overall pretty good.
