Excellent Audio!

I loved Love's Masquerade. I have read it several times before. But listening to it was a whole different story. There is quite a bit of sex in the book, both with the main characters and in the manuscripts they write and review. Tastefully and skillfully written by Radclyffe. Great story of Auden and Hays in a publishing house setting. This is one book that was improved by putting it on audio. Paige McKinney does an excellent job with the narration.

An Exquisite Story

Wow! This is another side of Radclyffe! What a deep moving story! This is aspect of this writer that was down right different! It was slow and deliberate and very deep! Love it, Love it! A deep insight into the characters and a look at mortality from a lesbian aspect! And I learned about lesbian writers and how they write and what inspires them! Wow so lovely a book and the reader was spot on!! Go get this book — you won’t be sorry!!

The best so far!

I've read at least 20 of Radclyffe's books, including all of the serires' and 20 or more similar authors, and this was the best. Full of passion, romance, abiding love... Loved it!

One of the best

It took me a while to decide to download this book. There was a less-than-stellar review posted almost as soon as it became available, and that held me back. As you can see by the five stars, I'm glad I took a chance and listened. The narration was wonderful, and while yes, it was a little confusing to have to differentiate between "real life" and a reading (maybe less so in the written version?), I think that was sort of the point...

Out of all the Radclyffe books I've read, this is now one of my favorites. My only problem with the story was the fact that it dealt with a difficult issue that hit a little too close to home...but of course, that's a very personal thing.

Great story, bad narration.

What is it with the high voice changes.? One minute it’s a lead characters voice and the next it’s the secondary characters voice. Also, Intimacy sounds forced rather than enjoyed. Very irritating.

My favorite Radclyffe book

Ive been waiting for this book to come to audio. The performance is very good.

Very good story!

I enjoyed the story very much. With Radclyffe’s medical background, the medical narrative was very interesting and believable. The two main characters were off the charts in chemistry. The two secondary characters Thane and Gail were equally wonderful and important.

The narration was very good. I had a bit of a hard time with Gail’s high pitched voice but otherwise, excellent!
