Radclyffe At Her Best
If you could sum up Passion’s Bright Fury in three words, what would they be?
Good, passionate, sexy
What other book might you compare Passion’s Bright Fury to and why?
Fated Love and Crosswords comes to mind. Like those stories, Passion deals with a highly talented surgeon who has to overcome personal issues for the sake of love. In Saxon's case, it's an overactive nervous system and a past that she likes to stay in the past.
Which character – as performed by Coleen Marlo – was your favorite?
Dr. Saxon Sinclair. Coleen Marlo did a fantastic job with the character.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Neither. It was just a very good medical romance.
Any additional comments?
I was introduced to Saxon Sinclair at the end of Fated Love and was intrigued by the character. Passion didn't disappoint. Coleen Marlo's voice added so much to the characters Saxon and Jude as well as Maddie, Saxon's grandmother. I read the hard copy but the audio gave me something more.

Great story
Ok only issue
why didn't Redcliffe finish it... did Judea movie win?
we know by fated Love that Sax and Jude are married.. So why not a wedding.
So this book was very engaging, easy to follow, great nartation. each Character was well introduced and easy to bond with.
she introduced Saxs family and her childhood. once she became a doc, it never mentions if she ever reconciled with her parents..
So as you can see there was plenty to write about.. At the end .
dispute all the questions, this is an amazing love story, that unfolds. fears are concord, and trust is built. along with a lots of laughs and some tears... You must read this for yourself... It's so worth it.

Mellow-Drama par excellence ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I gave this novel and narrator five stars for one reason.
The novel was written in 2003 and produced in 2014 and thinking back to those times, I realized that this was exactly the kind of book I was desperate to read and it was read in exactly the kind of voice that I yearned to hear. Passionate. Breathy. Over the top lesbian romance 💓.
In shorts, the author and narrator successfully delivered exactly what their audience was desperately needing.
If you want melodrama and love soap operatatic romance then by all means listen here.
However, if that is not your cup of tea, then I doubt you will award it as highly as I did.
There were actually times when breathy voices delivering over the top pledges of physical and emotional love made me smile.
What verged on the edge of pornographic description back then, a Radclyffe specialty now seems a bit immature, but that was then and this is now.
Take a step back and enjoy this book in the way is was meant to be devoured and smile at, and maybe envy the protagonist’s passion’s bright fury.

Dramatic ER romance
Dramatic lesbian romance between a up and coming film director an and enigmatic head of TR. I liked the story and the romance which covers most of the story and is full of love, as well as the dramatic events. Radclyfee early work at what she does best.
I guess I have been spoiled with narrators, Abby Craden and Nicol Zanzarella who perform on the Radclyfee Honor and Provencetown series, who in my view are the best. I took me a while to get into narrater Coleen marlo, she does good characters and expresses a lot of emotion, but her pace changed in places which I found ackward. But also felt the quality of the audio was poor - an audible issue, to me it seemed like it was overly compressed when posted so sounded a bit like listing over a noise phone line, more quality checks should be performed, as its a shame when so much work goes into these from the author to the narrator. But I might be a bit picky, so please listen the sample before purchasing, or use the return for refund if you strugle. But its a good story and the narrator is good, so I do recommend it, just check the audio first. :-).

Early Radclyffe is her best work.
This work was originally a fanficton Radclyffe wrote, and to my mind the early works that stemmed from this time are her best. There is a depth of character that seems to be lacking in the later works, as well as a more meatier overall plot-line. All that combined made this story much better in my humble opinion. I had read the story online before it was published as a book, and was pleased to see this one had made it onto the Audible catalog.
I hope more of Radclyffe's early work's find themselves into the catalog. I'm not likely to think about buying the later works as I do tend to find them revolving around the same basic premise. That's not to say that I won't buy them, but I will not be buying them just because they are out there, unlike the early stuff like this piece. 'Innocent Hearts' and 'Promising Hearts' are two perfect examples of books that I would love to see here.
Narrator wise it was okay, although again the engineering seems to let it down. I have noticed this a lot with Radclyffe's novels, and I wonder if it just the streaming, or if the studio they use for recording is not up to par. It could be something that the publishers might want to look into. Although there does seem to be a problem with sound quality on more than just these works, but whatever the reason it detracts from you listening.

Not bad
I enjoyed the story but struggled to connect with the characters as I have done with other audiobooks. I found the narrator was too quick with the dialogue and it felt rushed and hurried for the majority of the book, which made it hard for me to stay engaged. In some parts the narrator was so quick, I couldn't understand what was being said. I have listed to Melissa Braydens loft series more than once because the narrator was excellent and brought the story to life. I wouldn't listen to this again I'm afraid.
