Hope, healing, and happily-ever-afters: lesbian medical romances with heart.

Book 1: "Melody in Her Heart"

She swore she wouldn’t cross the line—until Jenni made her want to burn it.

Nurse Tabitha Brickly should have it all: a career, kids, and a husband. Instead, she’s exhausted, lonely, and aching for something more. Enter Jennifer Jennison—older, gorgeous, and completely off-limits. Their chemistry is instant, their attraction undeniable. Jenni knows Tabby is married and complicated, but resisting her feels impossible. As secrets mount, both women must decide: risk everything for a love that feels like destiny, or let fear keep them apart.

Book 2: "Fighting Her Touch"

She’s engaged to a man. She can’t stop thinking about a woman.

Elizabeth Fletcher’s future is set: marry her rich fiancé and give up nursing. But one look at Marisa Cavanaugh, a confident older woman on her ward, and Liz’s perfect plan unravels. Marisa knows Liz is too young, too conflicted—and far too engaged. Yet every touch, every glance draws them closer. Their passion is electric, their secret dangerous, and Liz is hiding something that could destroy it all. Will they risk everything for inevitable love, or let fear tear them apart?

Book 3: "Protecting Her Heart"

Protecting her heart just became the hardest fight of all.

Bella Strong has it all lined up—nursing school, a steady boyfriend, a future. The last thing she needs is distraction. Then Dr. Leona Guillano walks in: brilliant, older, and dangerously irresistible. Both are guarding secrets, yet the pull between them is undeniable. Every glance tests Bella’s resolve, every touch threatens to unravel everything. Can she risk her future for a love worth protecting—or will fear lock her heart away forever?

Let your happily-ever-afters begin now. Enjoy an emotional journey of hope, heart, and healing.

Book one, Tabitha being naive, in denial of her husband's infidelity and letting him talk to her that way, I wanted to slap her.

Book two, Liz had me yelling at her in the 1st few chapters and that didn't change till almost the end. Stubborn about things she shouldn't be, an being complacent on the things she should say no too.

Bella has a life plan, and even though she has a great BF, she doesn't have a spark or is in love with him. But staying with him because he firs that plan.

Pretty much you just wanted to strangle these so calmed straight woman who find the spark with certain lesbians, but try to fight or deny the pull for men they don't truly love.

These stories are good and love is love. the narrator did a great job. My only complaint is that one FL is a lesbian and the other is involved with a man then switches to the first FL. That's not the issue, but the men in the stories are cheating and that's the justification for the 2nd FL to switch. However, to me, having a relationship with another character is still cheating. So according to the author, two women in a relationship and having sex is not as bad as a man cheating with another woman. To me, it's both cheating and both characters in the M/F relationship are wrong. The hypocrisy sours the stories for me.

Sapphic Romances

Enjoyed the medical aspect
Had some issues with the times when working on the floor and they spent long times away from the floor
Enjoyed the coupling
The separation
The relationship
Could have used a bit more details in certain sections
Otherwise the ending was sweet!!

Sweet love story

Story was good but hated that each storyline had a young woman with a man and an older lesbian as the other character. The attractions were just basic no real chemistry portrayed.

Not what I expected.

This was pretty bad . The story line was good but the reader used a baby voice and so hard to adjust to. Not the type of story for a baby voice.

Title was interesting

Book 1:
Melody In Heart

I actually liked this off the bat, thanks to likable characters, and a dramatic, rocky homelife, and a nurse female lead with lots of workplace scenes. The smexual tension at work didn’t hurt.

There’s all this turmoil and a husban I loved to hate and strife and … there are issues at work, jobs on the line … and amidst it all, there’s that ‘new/ exciting/ falling in love’ vibe and it’s so sweet.

Nurse female lead.
Rocky marriage, nasty husband, lots of animosity.
S3xism.
Attempted SA.
Cheating.
Workplace romance.
Second chance at love.

Overall:
Super cute.
Likable characters. Left me wanting more.

3.5 stars.

Book 2:
Fighting Her Touch

Age gap (19 years).
Workplace romance.
Set in a hospital.
Fun group of work friends.
Second chances.
Nurses.

Theoretically cute but the writing was … odd at times. And had some issues other times, such as regarding plausibility and continuity. And honestly, continuity issues and cheesy writing ruins it for me. Between that and the commercial smack in the middle of the content, 2 stars.

Continuity (& other) issues -
🙄 Liz is shown as going to talk to her superiors about taking time off. She gets the time off. Then she gets fired for not being at work.
🙄 Liz’s age changes several times, as does Marissa’s.
🙄 They’re described as removing their sh!rts and “pressed their br34sts together”. Is that supposed to be hot or … believable?! Yikes.
🙄 Heard, “...kissed the inside of my cl34v4ge…” Come on.

There was an advertisement right in the middle of it, (Right before Chapter 11.)
Not cool, pulled me right out of the story. Usually authors save these for their backmatter. I don’t want ‘commercials’ in my audiobooks, thanks.

Book 3:
Protecting Her Heart

Honestly, this went exactly the same way books 1 and 2 did. Young, brand new employee in this hospital has a boyfriend she doesn’t really like. Attractive coworker twice her age instantly falls for her upon sight. They live happily ever after.

Overall,
All 3 books had the potential to be cute, but with bad writing, no continuity, and the same book written 3 times just with some different names, it didn’t really work for me.

🎧 Audio:
Overall sound quality was okay, mostly smooth though there were some instances of repeated sentences and words.
The narrator doesn’t sound like a robot, which is nice but in each installment, there was at least one character who sounded like a chipmunk—this could make it hard to take them seriously, and after a while got to be a bit hard to take.

The same exact story ... 3 times.
