Publisher's summary

In a place where realms combine and portals open passages to the unknown, a prophecy speaks of fertility being restored to his people through the taking of King Kabril’s mate.

The prophecy neglects to mention she lacks something vital to his kind - wings. Kabril, King of the Buteos Regalis has no interest in taking a human mate. His kind believes humans are dirty, vile creatures who rely on machines to lift them into the air. The last place he wants to go in search of his mate is Earth, but he’s left no choice.

Never did he expect to find love on a planet with one moon, people who lack wings and a stubborn vixen who makes his heart soar. When he does, he fears the truth about who and what he truly is will steal it away. Little does he know his enemies fully intend on doing the taking.

A short but sexy audio

I had read this book.,a few years back, so I knew what to expect with the story. The audio just added to it. Kabril is the King and he must find a mate. The Oracle has told him she resides on Earth. Rayna is a photographer and lover of birds and wildlife who has sold her grandmother's house to Kabril. From the first moment he sees Rayna, Kabril knows that she is his. Now, to just earn her trust and... woo her. I cracked up laughing at Kabril's attempts to woo Rayna. The audio just makes it funnier. Of course there is a HEA with this one and I cannot wait to listen to the next.

King of Prey

I love paranormal romances. This book is an amazing book. Birth rates are dropping for his people however Kabril does not want anyone else to decide his fate for him. When the oracle's tell him his mate is human that makes it even worse.

Rayna knows it is time to move on and sells her Grandmother's house. Luckily for her and Kabril, Sachin knows she is Kabrils mate and buys the house for them.

Sachin also knows how stubborn Kabril is and tells him a little white lie and makes Kabril think that Rayna is not his mate. This leads for a very funny story line. Kabril is very protective of Rayna and falls in love with her even before he knows who she is to him. I loved this story and this series.
