Wrong Narrator

I loved this book, but the male narrator was horribly miscast. Jasper is one of my favorite Devney Perry characters. The narrator made him seem like an older Ivy League professor instead of a UFC trainer.

The awful MMC voice…

He was so dramatic it was annoying AF. Like every voice was drawn out. Maybe the story would have been better but I couldn’t stand his audio

Narrators:
Lance Greenfield is a new to me narrator. I have heard good things about him, but for some reason, I was thrown off with his narration of Jasper. I think it's because he sounded a lot older for Jasper. I think, myself personally, I could take it or leave his narration. It's not terrible, but it's not my favorite.
Lucy River's, I like her. I do not mind when she narrates books. she does well and has a sweet, easygoing voice. I didn't hate the narration, and I will listen to this book again, but out of the performances for this series, this one is my least favorite. -Again my personal opinion. I will state again. I didn't hate it. They did good, however, I liked the other narrators more.

Story:
Oh, my good night. the Eden's... I have nothing bad to say about this family.
We have Eloise and Jasper's story, and what a sweet and amazing story it is. Eloise is a doll!! Her heart is truly the size of Montana. She loves with a fierceness that is beautiful. Jasper.... oh, poor Jasper. He is so closed off that Eloise really is perfect for him and shows him how much love and how amazing he is. The marriage of convince for this couple really is fun. They are drawn to one another and before they even know it. Form together as this perfect couple. It is sweet, and the moment of the registration for Jasper makes my heart swoon.
Devney is so talented with bringing us her stories. I am going to be so sad when this series comes to an end.

I’ve enjoyed the series. This book was less riveting than the others but still worth a listen.

I LOVED coming back to Quincy, Montana and reading about Eloise and Jasper!

We’ve seen Eloise in the previous books but getting to see her on a more personal level was amazing. And seeing her with Jasper, who we met in book 3 as Foster’s trainer, was beautiful.

Yes we come into a kinda sorta marriage of convenience (if you want to call them being drunk and thinking it is a great idea) and it also becomes a fake marriage. Eloise trying to prove to her family that she is responsible enough to run the family hotel while Jasper needs a wedding date to his ex-wife’s wedding… by the way who does that?

Their chemistry is immediate from the start. Immediate sparks and immediate spice. Although, Perry through in the suspense and mystery that I DID NOT SEE coming, I was left on the edge of my seat.

Now I will be patiently waiting for Lyla’s story in Crimson River.

Ahhh, Jasper and Eloise…loved it!!

Eloise has been working tirelessly to improve her family’s hotel, with the hope that it will be..one day…turned over to her. Except, her parents don’t seem to trust her so Eloise has been doing her best to appear that she has her act together. Of course, her hard work might be all for naught if word gets out that she drunkenly married Jasper Vale in Vegas! Jasper lives a pretty rigid life so it goes totally against the grain when he marries Eloise in Vegas. Now the pair must work through their issues to see if an HEA is in the cards for them. Cute story that did not disappoint.

Great story, Terrible narration.

Story was great! Narrator (specifically, male) really ruined it for me. The voice did not match the tone needed to perform the book.

The story was good, but unfortunately the male narrator was terrible for this particular book. I almost didn’t finish.

Amazing!!

A drunken night in Vegas leads Jasper and Eloise to The Clover Chapel to get married. Now back in Eloise’s small town she has to prove that this marriage wasn’t a mistake so she can still get her family inheritance, The Eloise Inn. They both agree to fake this marriage for their own personal gains until the lines start to blur. They both realize that they want each other in their lives for real and don’t want to get a divorce.

Jasper and Eloise have my entire heart! I absolutely adored their story and banter. Eloise was so strong through out this book and I loved how broody Jasper was. The writing was amazing and I just ate up this story. It had banter, spice, “my wife”, and all other yummy things. Also the touch of suspense at the end was excellent. Another great book from Devney Perry!

Narrators did an amazing job at bringing Jasper and Eloise to life!
