Hated the heroine

The heroine was stupid and clingy and needy. She made bad choices and was such a pushover, it drove me insane. She was extremely naive. How is an ANGEL whose lived as long as her and lived on the literal place we call hell that naive? Gtfo of here. Also, one of my biggest pet peeves is when a woman refers to having sex for the first time to someone they barely know as "making love". It's like someone bringing up how many kids someone else wants to have after their 1st intimate moment. Cringey.

The BDSM scene was cringey af! The reason for it was stupid. It felt unnatural. BDSM is fine when the sub is strong outside of the bedroom, but she was a weak nitwit outside of it so in a BDSM scenario it was just cringey.

She acts like they're bffs or spouses after 1 day of hanging out. It was just all so cringey.

It would've been great with a better heroine who wasn't completely obsessive over the hero.

Disappointed

Story started out OK but soon devolved into a circus mess. I quickly tired of ridiculous names and made up words. I am not usually an eye roller, but didn't realize how much range of motion they had when called on. As usual, Mr. West's cadence is too slow and needed to speed up in order to listen without going to sleep. Which I did due to silly plot. Even Big Tag's minimal presence couldn't save this book.

Demons, Angels... not your typical Taggart stuff

I was expecting more of the McKay-Taggart stuff... and that was my mistake. As this book is not by Lexi. I realized this later.

This book is about demons, angels, superpowers and supernatural. Nothing close to what I was expecting in the series.

Having said that, I suppose I could like this type of book but I found it really slow. And, having to learn new terminology was a bit too much.

I will give it a better rating because I picked this book by mistake. Overall, this book didn't really appeal to me. Too slow. Sorry.

Angel in the Kitchen.

Another sexy shorter story. I was a little worried when they brought the torture chamber out that this was going to be more of a bdsm story, but thankfully it is not, just a bit of sexy play. I like Larissa Ione’s shorter stories, but I’m looking forward to a longer series that has a more in depth story line like the Demonica or the Horseman. I would even be interested in more of her Moonbound Clan series. Narrator is sexy.

Really????

I was so hoping the author would end up making it a book written by Ian Taggert to make money to send his kids to college. But, alas, no.

One Angelic Story!

I absolutely LOVED this book. It was a bit difficult to understand the Demonica portion of this book having only read the first book in the series. The Masters and Mercenaries was easier to follow to follow being a big fan of this series. I loved everything about this book. Five Stars on this one! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good book.

I only listened to this book because I LOVE Lexi Blake's Master and Mercenary series and thought I would give it a try. I really enjoyed this book. I may give the others in the series a try, I'm kind of curious as to what will happen with other characters.

Introduction to a new series for me

I am a long time fan of the Masters and Mercenaries series, but I had never tried any of the Demonica Underwold series. While I would not generally my cup of tea, I did find this story fascinating and compelling. I really found Suzanne and Declan a wonderful couple. Hawkyn, Cipher, and Sexy were also fun characters. I will try a couple more of these stories as I definitely want to know what happened with Cipher.

When demons and angels meet masters and mercenaries this is what you get.

Very entertaining romance

This is my first book by Ms Ione, I listened to it as part of the Crossover from Masters & Mercenaries. I love paranormal but not big on demons, however, the characters were so interesting that it kept me entertained. I loved her hot love scenes. Definitely worth listening to.

disappointing

I am a huge fan of Larissa ione and have loved so many of her books but this book fell flat for me. it was slow, a little boring, and just not on the same level as her other books. the idea for the story was good and the characters were OK. I'm not a fan of talking a lot about food so that bothered me, as the female lead was a cook.
