Female narrator was good but would have much rather have had a male too

Great Story, missed Ryan West Narrating.

Was hesitant about the narrator, but ended up loving the story. Narrator was difficult to follow a lot of the time, but hopefully will get better the more she does!

Loving the start to this series

I enjoyed this story very much. After a traumatic incident sent Lila to live in her sisters quirky Louisiana town, she wasnt expected to fall in love or even like with the small town. When she connects with the hunky sheriff and his teenage daughter, she finds that everything in life happens for a reason. Unfortunately, a repeat of her past trauma may be too much for her to bear. This story got so wrapped up in Lila, Noelle, and Armie that I thought we completely forgot the danger afoot..thankfully it was not forgotten. The story is very well rounded. The character development was slow and clear. The connection between Lila and the citizens of Pappion, La took time to cultivate and develop and the author ensured that everyone were secondary characters and just as important as the main. You got wrapped up in the story and found yourself routing Lila, Armie, and Noelle to come together as the family they were meant to be. This is a great start to the series.

Great little romance!!

Loved this little romance. Kinda felt like life was kicking Lila's butt a little too unrealisticly, but I also think that helped her to grow and change into the person she really needed/wanted to be!!
