Updated Narrators!

The reviews were not kidding about the narration being terrible. I couldn’t take it seriously. But praise the Lords - the narration has been updated and is SO much better. One of my favorite series. Shantel creates an amazing world that will have you so intrigued you’ll shoot through all of the books. One of my favorite reads of 2023!!

A bingeable series!

I KNEW this was going to be wild after everything I've read by this author. The Dare series, Make You Beg, they are incredible check them out! THIS ONE though, is not any less dark than those. Possibly darker.

So many of us who have read this already have said, do not play around with the triggers and we mean it. Don't read this, find out you shouldn't have, and then bash it because you were out of your element. This book is depicted exactly as it is, DARK, and it is perfectly suited for the appropriate audience.

I know that's a bit of a rant but it felt important to clarify because I've been seeing dark romance under attack a lot and I'm just over it. We're here for it and it's going to stick around. Don't sit at our table if you don't like it.

Now, Ryat. I ADORE HIM AND I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE HAS TO SAY! He's the obligatory dark and he's obviously delicious but for some reason I just ate him up immediately. He's the ultimate out of the Tessier books I've read so far and I was pretty deep into Law, so.

Blakley is a bit of a lily in the thorns, she's oblivious to the plot she's a part of and I felt a bit sorry for her knowing how wild these plots can get. She was already resolved to the life she was expected to live according to her parents and then she's plunged into all of this. I could go on forever but I really just think you ought to read it.

This is a long book and that can be intimidating but once you get going you won't stop!

Holy hot and crazy Batman! I’ve been stuck with audiobooks due to eye sh*t. I’ve been waiting for Ms. Tessier’s books to show up in audio format. I will have a book hangover for months.
This book has everything. Drama, spice 🔥🔥🔥🔥, and HEA. And let’s not forget secret society—my kryptonite.

I am anxiously awaiting more audiobooks from Ms. Tessier

Smut gold

Everything I love in an anti hero- ruthless, dominant- and obsessed!!! Loved it!! Wish there had been more from his perspective but other than that it’s a great book!
