Publisher's summary
Are you on a fast metabolism diet and too lazy to cook? This recipe book contains 50 surprisingly simple fast metabolism diet recipes that you can prepare and cook in the same afternoon. In other words, they are so simple that even your lazy ass can cook them!
If you have done low-calorie diets and abandoned them later, you will understand the limitations of this diet. You are always starving, making your body conserve fats. Unknown to you, you are also not taking in foods that cause inflammation. This slows your bowel movements and, at the same time, causes insulin resistance.
During an anti-inflammatory diet, there are three phases, which use your body's food-burning capabilities. You are expected to eat a lot more than during other diets. It is recommended that you eat three full meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and a minimum of two snacks every day. There is no calorie counting or avoiding any food groups. The idea is to eat different varieties of foods to keep your body burning foods at different speeds:
- In phase one, designed for Mondays and Tuesdays, you will eat a lot of fruits and carbs.
- In phase two, designed for Wednesdays and Thursdays, you will take in a lot of proteins and vegetables.
- In phase three, from Fridays to Sundays, you will take in a lot of foods from phases one and two, plus oils and fats.
At the end of four weeks, you will notice that you have lost some weight, your energy level will have skyrocketed, you will sleep better, and you will have less stress.
This cookbook is written as a complement to The Fast Metabolism Diet by Haylie Pomroy. For further listening, I recommend you download this book as well. The recipes are designed so that you can mix and match them according to your preferences. Do not think that you have sacrificed your enjoyment of food by giving up meals.

Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet we know very little about how it works. Gut: The Inside Story is an entertaining, informative tour of the digestive system from the moment we raise a tasty morsel to our lips until the moment our body surrenders the remnants to the toilet bowl. No topic is too lowly for the author's wonder and admiration, from the careful choreography of breaking wind to the precise internal communication required for a cleansing vomit.

What disappointed you about Painless Fast Metabolism Diet Recipes for Lazy People?
It's useless to LISTEN to a recipe. There was no PDF download to go with it. The reader mispronounced basic ingredients, quinoa for example. Very poorly done.
Would you be willing to try another one of Robert Stetson’s performances?
No. He couldn't pronounce basic words correctly.
