Great read

The narrator was very easy to listen to. This is a book that I will often find myself revisiting for course correcting!
It also helped intreffectively understand things that were triggered for me as a child.

We have seen results. It works

We have seen results in 5 days. We’re still getting our head around it in every area but it works. We have 4 kids 5 and under. The number of tantrums our oldest has thrown have significantly decreased and the degree to which they are is much less. And Mom and Dad are much less frustrated. We needed this and are thankful to have found it. P.S. you can’t give in and have to be strong knowing the end result will be much better.

practical tips for raisin kids

I liked that the book explained the children's point of view and why they behave that way. The strategies are clear, concise and practical. I also liked the letters from the parents to give examples.

Great book for parents

I had the paper copy of this book for years and every time I read it, I stop on Tuesday and never finished it as I didn’t have time to sit and read it all, but I tried some of the principles in these two chapters before and it worked. Now, I am so disparate for a change and I decided to listen to the audiobook and I finished it in three days. It’s working Dr. Leman and I am working on it. My kids are starting to change, less fighting but not there yet and for my four years old he hit us less now, so it’s working.
