A MUST read for every parent

Any additional comments?

This was one of the very few books I found to be practically useful to me on my parenting journey! It literally changed our life from driven by anxiety and fear of unknown to driven by understanding, peace and confidence. Excellent, fun, heart-felt narration. Down to earth advice. I couldn't stop listening... and I found myself taking notes and applying this author's advise immediately after I heard it! Our children's behaviors have been positively transformed and my husband and I gained the much needed confidence to parent with healthy firmness, unconditional love and compassion. We have two powerful boys, ages 3 and 5. This was a life saver for all of us. It is exactly the book I needed to hear. Thank you for that!

Fantastic Book!!!

This is an amazing parenting book! Probably the best one I have read.
I loved that after each section it talks about power points and gives you a summary of that chapter!
I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and will come back to it as the perfect manual for parenting without struggles.

Great, practical tips for your powerful child

Loved the narrator. Good choice for this book with good inflection and personality.

As always, Dr Leman's books are really easy reading with very practical help.

Now I just have to practise on my two powerful children!

I recommend this book if you're getting into power struggles with a kid or two!

Mostly anecdotal and often repetitive

The summary in the last five minutes pretty much sums up the entire book. None of the advice seems to be backed by any studies or at least the author does not mention them.

Super useful and practical advice

I think this book was full of useful and practical information without a lot of psychology jargon and with good reference to the teachings in the bible.

This book was very preachy from the very start. I didn't enjoy listening to it, but tried and finally a little more than halfway through, I had to give up. I thought the reader performed it well...just didn't appreciate the content.
