The book is loaded with sound advice that is mirrored by lots of books in the same category. If you have daughters, I would definitely recommend. The advice is geared toward raising females. The book is still worth a read, but if you have boys, you may seek out another book that focuses on boys.

practical parenting advice to help thru the middle school years. I will need to go back and listen when my next child gets into middle school.

We have a middle schooler. This book is so informative, engaging and fun! Exceeded my expectations. It works too as we have implemented some of ideas learned! Our home is much more peaceful.
