Women, stop buying the male medical explanations!

The beginning of the book was way too long on topic, but chapter 5 makes the whole book worth the listen. I'd watch paint dry for the info the last half of this book offered.

There IS Hope!

I'm a 55-year old woman going through "menopause". I've been on a low-carb/keto diet for the last 13 months and I've learned from several wonderful male doctors about the benefits of eating this way, but none of these men have ever addressed the wonderful "menopause" years and why would I expect them to? Dr. Bright, a woman who has been down Menopause Road, has saved the day! I'm extremely grateful because the simple adjustments I've made to my keto diet are helping already! I can't wait to get healthy so my female friends and family can see for themselves that "menopause" doesn't have to be the monster experience that we all hear about. Dr. Bright, thank you, you ARE changing the world!

Awesome Help & Information

Loved it all! I love the way she explains everything. It all makes sense!! I am turning my eating lifestyle around because of her information I’ve received not just this book but all podcasts! I have Hashimoto & Rheumatoid Arthritis so I’m ready to make a change to help my body. I am one of those females that always turned away from eating a lot of fat. Guilty of higher carbohydrate eating.
I thank you for this book of information & look forward to more. Also thank you for your podcasts & appearance on others podcasts. You have been a great inspiration to me!!

Every woman should read this

This book makes sense of the history of menopause and provides a modern perspective to menopause that is so overdue. I wish I’d found this book years ago. Many thanks to the wonderful author.

Clear display of how women have been misdiagnosed and misguided by the healthcare industry.

This book is very useful to help understand the specificities of the female body throughout ages. It is also a reassuring book for all of us who have wondered so many times what was wrong with us. Welcome crème fraîche , eggs, bacon and all the delicious fatty foods we have been told were banned from a “healthy diet”!

Great information.

Wonderful info on the history of how women's "health" was determined, why our bodies are engineered for optimum performance when we are properly nourished and cared for, and how to actually do that!
