nice light mobster story. wish there were more

nice light read after binging on some pretty dark listens. would recommend this audiobook to others looking for the same

Horrible Narration

The story was pretty good, but the narration was something to be desired. Seemed like it was 4th Grader reading a story for the first time out loud in class.

3.5 Stars

This is the first time in a long time that sadly narrators did not do a great job bringing a book to life for me. They did a decent job at narrating but I felt they were missing emotion into the characters and i really wanted to love their voices. The story itself had a good pace and did a good job bringing background to the characters and weaving their story. I did feel there were a few little holes in the story line and I would have like to have a little more story/background in parts.

If you are looking for a good listen to pass time this listen is for you.

A great book!

A great listen. A great book. Bella and Joker are a great gangster couple. When you fall in love, that’s it. Gangster or not, the heart wants what it wants.

Thaddeus and Grace

I read this book a long time ago and enjoyed it then but listening to it brought it to a new level. Thaddeus and Grace embark on a sinfully seductive, intriguing, and absolutely adorable journey and I loved it! Narration was great.

Really enjoyed

I have been bingeing on this Author. Can’t get enough of her books right now.

Gangster

I could not stop listening to Gangster. I was so entertained and wanting to know what was going to happen between them.

Loved the story

OK. I loved the story. Loved the idea of the gangster. The characters were great. Loved the fact the Audible was Dual POV.
Now what I didn't like, found it laughable really was the male narrator. The whole time listening I was very distracted by the fact the guy sounded just like the guy from that radio commercial for Jared's jewelry. I especially noticed it when he said the word diamonds or jewelry.
Overall not an enjoyable experience.

Narrators weren’t for me.

First I want to say that I absolutely adore this story of Grace and Thaddeus! They are truly a romance I loved reading about.

I didn’t click with the narrators at all, though. I felt the male was way older, didn’t have a hint of Italian accent, and was very monotone. I just couldn’t imagine him as Thaddeus. I didn’t know his name at the time but I’ve had an issue with him reading other books as well. The female narrator was better, her male voice was better too, but again I just couldn’t imagine her as Grace. When they would read to each other (like a real conversation) it felt forced an awkward.

I was disappointed with the audio, but loved the story enough to listen through.

I need a Gangster

Gangster is not what I expected when I decided to take a dive in the mafia world. It was so much more. The mystery of it all sucked me in from the start, laying a seductive plot that grabbed and held my attention while making me read this entire book in one sitting. Thaddaeus courted Grace based off his Grandfather's principles and he radiates power as he is all Italian Alpha. I was immediately drawn to his character.
Grace is a woman with backbone and not afraid of the man most people in Chicago fear. She is your average career woman and has no idea who the famous Joker is. So, when she does not shy away from him like everyone else, she attracts his attention. This was a great story and I highly recommend
