The alternate Jon Ryan is becoming more insane and more determined to take the shape-shifters for his own dark purposes. A magical galactic dragon volunteers to take the teens under her wing and teach them. But can the Adamant or either Jon let them go?

As the unstoppable Adamant war machine stomps across the galaxy, Jon and the teens must part ways again. This time, it may be for good. They must learn the ways of their lost race. Jon must find a way to stop the loss of more civilizations and more innocent lives. He must perform an impossible task. But to enlist the help of a malevolent spirit who can do the impossible, Jon must pay the ultimate price. He agrees to his eternal torment in exchange for the chance to deal the Adamant a death-blow.

Jon Ryan must dig into a very dark side of his personality he wishes wasn't there. He knows he must call upon it. But he's acutely aware that if he dances too close to the cliff, he may fall into the pit of hopeless despair. Jon is on the razor's edge trying to justify his rash act in order to speed the downfall of the brutal Adamant advance. But what price is just too much to pay?

Great parts 3 and 4.

Love the ongoing saga and imagery presented by the author. Fun and easy to listen to.

Amazing dialog!

The series begins to drag after billions of years. Jon is still trying to conquer the Adamant empire and push back against his other time stream self. It's puzzling why his former wife rejects him, but his love for the two Deft children is very sweet. The dialogue is the genius of this series. The interactions between The two AIs named Al and and the vortex manipulator Blessing is increasingly hilarious as they fall in love and are "married!" But perhaps the most amazing sequence was the conversation when Jon fell into another time stream and found himself talking to afterthoughts! The creativity of the conversation and the humor was very good and worth reading even if the storyline gets old! I mean how many alien races and in particular how many "dogs" can you kill over the billions of years our android hero is alive!

epic sci-fi with a comedic twist

I love this author. it's epic sci-fi with a comedic style not unlike Guardians of the Galaxy with a hero reminiscent of Jack O'neill...on steroids.

Great book but ends on a cliffhanger

This continues a great series, but it "ends" on a cliffhanger. I really hate that part - would have been 5 stars otherwise.

I’m stuck on these books the offered a free one now I need to be part or Ryan’s tale. I mean he spans billions of years can’t wait to follow it all

loved this book, it was so stupid it was clever and I mean that in the best way possible.
