Story
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

Story
If it's peace you want don't ever be Jon Ryan. He's lived two billion years in the android host he transferred to when asked to save humankind. Darn thing won't wear out. Since successfully ensuring the survival of the population of doomed Earth, Jon wanted to die. He was switched off with the promise of never being powered up again. When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.

Story
In the 25th century, humans have conquered space. The advent of faster-than-light travel has opened up hundreds of habitable planets for colonization, and humans have exploited the virtually limitless space and resources for hundreds of years with impunity. So complacent have they become with the overabundance that armed conflict is a thing of the past, and their machines of war are obsolete and decrepit. What would happen if they were suddenly threatened by a terrifying new enemy?

Story
In the 20th century Earth sent probes, transmissions, and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy. As most of the local worlds were too civilized to have a proper army, the only valuable service Earth could provide came in the form of soldiers....

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Scott Aiello brought this series to life!
Honestly, this one of the best narrated series I have ever heard on Audible. The story was good and to finish it is like staying good bye to an old friend. Scott brought this world to life with his pace, the accents and the individuality he brings to these characters was incredible. Hats off to Craig Robertson for a unique and funny story but Scott Aiello really brought it to life.

Mediocre science fiction with liberal politics
I listened to the first two books. They are tolerable and make the time spent scrubbing the toilet go by faster. The writing style is acceptable, the characters are shallow and 2 dimensional. I listen to Science fiction to get away from people cramming their liberal beliefs down my throat. Unfortunately every book I read these days throws gay marriage and leftist ideology right out in the front. This book is no exception. Subtle jabs at Trump and praise for the Clintons, Gore Andy other Democrats.... it isn’t pivotal to the story but the authors shoe-horn it in there any way... ultimately this was mediocre science fiction at its most mediocre....

The weakest installment in the series, but still good!
This was the most campy book in the series. The ending was okay, if a bit disappointing. It felt very anticlimactic. I did very much enjoy the series but can’t give this book quite as high of a rating as the first two. It simply was not as well thought out or engaging. Each challenge presented no real challenge other than talking in circles, and coincidence seemed to be used to unfair extremes. It’s a tough balance to write sci-fi that is “believable” and again, the first two books just did it better, setting a high bar. Overall a decent end to an otherwise great series.

its ok...
story is ok but I feel like the author kills off the main villain way to fast. Super hero John Ryan never gets to meet his Lex luther, joker, or frieza... As soon as the villain gets to momentum going John kills him easily enough. With that being said the other aspects of the story are pretty good.

Disappointing ending
I’m not going to spoil the story and uncover the ending, but I was personally disappointed. Kind of went against the whole story narrative. If you want to keep the main character might and powerful in your memory, skip the prologue, wish I did.

the butterfly ruined the book to me.
the butterfly ruined the book. with the entire universe it had to go to John's family. it would have been better too just remove it from the book, the rest of the nightmare's plot was okay but just the thought of how bad the butterfly plot was and unimaginative it made the rest of the read unpleasant.
it was almost like the author had run out of things to write and started just writing anything nonsense filler.

great series briefest of endings.
ending was anti climactic to say the least. great story overall. Loved the series.

A little trite at the end
I really liked the whole series right up to the last couple of chapters.
The end just seemed to have a "I'm done with this & can't be bothered finishing it well" feel to the writing.
Just a little dissapointing.

Good series
Enjoyed the premise, even if it seems a tak off of the "Bobs" Series. However, things were flowing well through the series til the end. It really felt like the author said "well, my deadline is tomorrow, so I better wrap this up in one paragraph.". Very disappointing

Just Fabulous
I have very much enjoyed these 6 books on Jon Ryan. I’m a little sad but also happy with this conclusion. I’m about to start the next set of 6 novels regarding Jon so am happy to have that to look forward to. Brilliant narration once again by Scott Aiello. Thanks Craig, I’ve loved these worlds you’ve created.

Good laugh and enough for die hard sci fi fans
Really enjoying this series - good humour and some science end of the sci fi continuum.
Great reader

the story goes on. then stops
the performance of this book is the most outstanding part of it.
still, it has enough twists to keep the interest and mind ticking.
and I would recommend you to listen. the humanity of everyone is a deep point to take away and think about.

My chapters are out of their order!
If anyone can have a look at the order of chapters. I have chapters 34 to 37 labeled as chapter 2 to 5... And chapter one starts at chapter 6....
Thank you
