Publisher's Summary
Jericho isn't the famous rock star he once was, though he still plays in a local band and loves to party. Beautiful women come and go, but music is his only passion - until a sassy redhead named Isabelle Monroe shows up unexpectedly. Izzy has always loved the freedom and adventure of life on the road, but she has recently decided to settle down-as much as a rogue wolf can. When her boyfriend gets her a job working at a hot Shifter bar, she runs into the last person on earth she expected to see again. Old habits die hard, and sometimes the toughest addictions to shake are the ones that control our hearts.

Five Fabulous Stars!
I recently listened to Dannika Dark's new release Risk, and was reminded how much I enjoy her writing style, so I dusted of my iPad library, and finally made time to listen to Five Weeks. Wow! It was GREAT! (I'll admit after listening to Six Months, I was in no hurry to move on to book three due to the narration for book two, April's character made it sound too depressing. However, I can safely say Five Weeks narration was much better!) :-)
The stories Dark creates are fascinating and have the perfect blend of drama, suspense, and romance, but it's the level of detail she provides that make them truly awesome to listen too. Each scene is descriptive, and has all little details like the character's surroundings, their mannerisms, movements, clothing, what songs they are listening too, etc. which makes it easy to visualize the story unfolding in your mind.
There's lots of characters, and each have their own unique personalities. As the story moves along, we get to watch them interact with each other, and the dialogue and banter between them comes across as natural and oddly realistic.
Nicole Poole did a great job narrating book three, and the characters voices are consistent. I listened to Six Months back in January 2016, and was able to easily identify the characters in book three.
Verdict: A fascinating PNR about shifters, with awesome world building, and excellent character development, that's neither too dark or light, and have the right blend of drama, action, suspense, romance and hot sex scenes.
I will definitely be continuing this series!

better than #2... wish I'd skipped to this
hated hated HATED Six Months. still cringe when scenes with April pop up. After this one, it seems I could have skipped it. This in itself was just OK. pretty much could have skipped the second half. Nothing after the big save (attempting not to spoil) just seemed like the author was struggling to give it more pages. and aside from Trevor, they're don't seem to be any substantial storyline or character developments afterwards. All in all, so far this entire series is just kind of OK. No characters or situations I actually love our even really like, many I detest, and overall they're leaving me feeling mildly depressed. I'm mildly curious as to how the Denver/Maize situation is going to pan out. So, i'll probably finish the series, but really just cause I'm no quitter.

Not my favorite, but still A+ entertainment.
My third foray into the Seven Series was a tad underwhelming and a little on the "meh" side. It all boils down to personal preference though. This book is still just as FREAKING adorable as the others, but Jericho isn't my favorite pack member and I found myself a little detached from his story. And since I wasn't as invested in his character, it all felt a little too much this time around. I mean, can ANY of these girls step out in public without getting harassed/raped/almost killed??? When Izzy gets kidnapped and almost sold on the black market, it was hard for me not to roll my eyes. I mean, really?
But on the flip side, I really LOVED Izzy. Next to Ivy she's my favorite of all the girls so far. She's just so freaking cool and the entire time I listened to this audiobook I pictured her as Sadie from Across the Universe. Which is like, one of the biggest compliments I can give honestly. *Starts scream-singing "Helter Skelter"*
Plus, even when I'm salty about the main shifter in the story, I'm so invested in this universe now that I don't even mind. So many other characters I love flit in and out of scenes that it's still entertaining to listen to.
FINAL WORD
Meh, this one's okay. I don't love Jericho, so this installment fell a little flat for me. But I'm loving this series and all the best characters make an appearance, which definitely helped. I can't WAIT to read Ivy's story next.

Done with the series.
Seven was pretty good, Six not quite as good and Five is actually irritating. Make a decision- do most breed men protect women or tell them to "fix your mess" just a day or two after finding the woman chained to a bed in a basement by a psycho. Ms. Dark swings back and forth from one extreme to the other in many areas; language lots of "hell's bells" and fucks going on, we protect our women-watch the guys you serve at the bar they tend to get handsy, I don't like you, I will never trust you, you are bad for my brother-until you declare your love to each other in front of me then it's all good. Just can't take it any more!

A SHIFTER ROMANCE THAT'LL GET YR TAIL WAGGING
Dannika Dark's style of writing and the input of detail she puts into each action-packed Chapter enables the listener to picture each scene, each character, each twist and each exciting event as the story slowly, and deliciously, unfurls. There's chemistry that needs no charts between a shifter H and H who have very human hang-ups, deep feelings and who so deserve each other but are tested at every turn. A plot that has build-up, tension, drama, danger, passion, sex, a great cast of secondary characters and a tight pack that mixes humans in with wolves who are all there for each other.
Then finally, at the end, it leaves you with that satisfied feel-good feeling that you have been so engrossed in all the action that those tiresome chores like the overflowing basket of ironing you've been dreading has now miraculously been emptied and it's contents transformed. The fairies must have just left because your place sparkles, the train went supersonic as the commute was over in a flash and finally, the wait at the dentists was actually enjoyable....... ahhh, don't you just love Audible.
Worth a credit? A well-written and brilliantly narrated book that has characters and a plot that sucks you right in so..... YEAH very creditworthy.

5 Five Weeks Stars
Jericho and Izzy… These two wow, there chemistry is off the hook.
I think there past has a lot to do with it. But it is the here and now that make them solid.
They go through a lot of ups and downs and trust is a huge thing Izzy needs to feel. But it’s not easy people don’t always come through for her.
But once she takes the leap she is golden. And Jericho has to trust too not only her but his pack that they will do what is best for him and for her. I like that they communicated and sure there was drama but it wasn’t forced it was just because of the situation.
Jericho changes the name of his band in the book to Heat and I think that describes this book to a tee. Its HEAT, from the action to the romance.
It’s a great addition to the series and I love re listening because Nicole kills it with these characters the gravely voices the female voice I am a FAN!
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Great narration
I really like how each of these books introduces a new member of the Weston pack and tells their story. So far all of the brothers have had their own unique personality and quirks that makes the book new and interesting. Nicole Poole does a fantastic job narrating the various characters and makes the book very enjoyable to listen to.

Wow
What made the experience of listening to Five Weeks the most enjoyable?
I've become really immersed in the series.
Any additional comments?
Izzy and Jericho seem like an unlikely couple to everyone else but each other; the only trouble is outside forces keep getting in between them. Jericho is the most romantic of the brothers, which is weird because he’s usually a womanizing rock star, but Izzy’s influence brings out the best in him. My favourite in the series so far.

Another decent instalment
I've recently discovered this series and thoroughly enjoyed the first two audio books. I wondered how the author would keep up the pace and steamy content. Yet again the characters drew me in, are relatable, though other worldly, and keep me listening with burning ears. Definitely a must for lovers of supernatural steamy romance stories.

I was surprised
So this book surprised me cause I didn't think I'd like the story about him and his life style but it was surprisingly great. I loved the new character and the development with the pack.

A great third book. Maybe a little slower to start
A little slower than the first 2, but still a great story.
The narrator does an excellent job, a voice that envelopes the sexy rockstar and his sassy mate.
