Publisher's Summary

After years of living abroad, Maizy returns home to the only family she's ever known - a pack of wolves. When she confronts her childhood watchdog to see where they stand, his resentment leaves her uncertain about where she really belongs.

Behind Denver's charming smile is a tragic past - one that's made his wolf savage and unpredictable. Only Maizy has been able to tame that darkness. And when they're reunited after many years apart, he no longer sees a child he once protected. She's captivating and intelligent - a woman with the world at her fingertips and two suitors offering more than he ever could.

Torn between two worlds, Maizy must choose how her fairy tale ends. Tragedy, murder, passion, and imprisonment all collide with a heart-stopping twist.

I begin to believe in fairytales again.

Any additional comments?

Two Minutes is more than a paranormal, shifter romance. This book reaches into your soul and speaks to you on another level. A story of coming home, of finding ones place in their past and seeing how that will work with what fate has deemed to be their future.

Maizy has sent years traveling and exploring the world. Now she is ready to come home and see if Austin is still her 'home' and how a human can fit in with a pack of wolves.

Denny has always been Maizy's watchdog, but when his duties are cut short by her being sent away for schooling he is left with a feeling of worthlessness. When Maizy returns home, all grown and breathtakingly beautiful, Denver is at a loss. He is no longer her watchdog. What is he? Packmate? Former watchdog? No one?

Maizy is faced with her own sets of doubts. How does she fit in? She was once the child that everyone adored and protected. Now she is a woman and her mark makes her potentially something more. When life becomes complicated with questions, secrets and insecurities, will fate smile upon her or rear its ugly head. Will she be left on her own to figure out her place in this vast expanse of a world, or will she be at home in the pack she grew up in?

Dannika brilliantly weaves a magical tale of heartache, love and coming of age questions into an unforgettable romance staring two secondary characters who have found their own voice. A couple that I have been cheering on for what seems like ages.

The plethora of emotions I experienced while savoring this exquisite story rocked me to my core. The author had me in tears of heartache, tears of deep love and tears of laughter. The intricate attention to detail brings the story to life. You aren't just experiencing a book-- you are living and breathing the book. Through Dannika's writing, I begin to believe in fairytales again.

I listened to the audio version of this book for most of my experience. The narrator is magnificent and really bring the story to another level.

It was truly a pleasure to experience this book, but it was bittersweet, as I know that the series is coming to an end soon. I eagerly await the next masterpiece from this 5+ star author.

It's just weird...

I have enjoyed previous books from this writer and the little differences in this series. The characters in the series are a bit wacky and some not likeable but others balance the stories out so I guess they work for a entertaining read. Yeah, I may have to come back to this particular one later or not at all. The whole guy that was like her uncle and helped raised her, possibly being her mate? Don't know if they did because I haven't made past chapter 12 rubbed me the wrong way and made my skin crawl. Not my thing. Maybe if they weren't in each other's lives that long from she was little, but I can't wrap my head around the "uncle" Denny mating with the now young lady, its creepy. Besides, I don't know his story and everyone needs a chance at love. Would've loved to understand why he was such a big Man child which is not in the least bit attractive to me. Don't care how attractive the person is. but the story went in this direction and just Not my cup of thing. I see a lot of people Enjoyed it. To each their own.

Fairy tales DO come true!

Always wanted Denver and Maizy to wind up together. Of course in the real world, or in this case the shifter world, that doesn't come easy. As with the others in the Seven series, Dannika writes a romantic, frustrating, laughable, sexy story with a fabulous happy ending. Nicole also provides another fantastic narration; she is on my list of favorites!

The series continues

Often series tend to get boring, but the Weston pack continues to intrigue and stimulate our hearts, bodies and mind. Keep up a good work and let's add to the pack by matching up William.

Simply adorable

What did you like most about Two Minutes?

Tying together all the aspects of Maizy's life, especially from the first book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I have a real liking for Wheeler, what's not to like?

Any additional comments?

Maizy grows up as a human in a house full of wolves, but she’s not afraid because she has her watchdog, Denver. When Maizy leaves for college Denver thinks his close connection with her is lost forever and severs all ties to her. She spends years feeling lost and alone only to return home and get the same silent treatment. This is a deeply romantic book and it reveals the more basic instincts of the shifters and their world. It explores the flaws and outdated rules that they live by. Maizy challenges the world she lives in and creates an emotional attachment between the reader and the character, while Denver is just simply adorable.

The Romance We've All Been Waiting For!🙏💘🔥😍

Two Minutes
Seven Series, Book #6
Audiobook 🎧
By: Dannika Dark
Narrated by: Nicole Poole
Length: 11 hrs and 14 mins

A wonderfully narrated sixth book in this exceptional series. Delivered with passion, flare & drama!👍

Denver has been Maizy's watchdog since her family joined their pack when she was little. She's grown up a human in a world of shifters but having left for further education she's interested to see if she'll still fit in.🙏 What she's not prepared for is the continued brush off from Denver, her best friend & teen crush, on her return. She's shocked by how much she desires him now she's an adult too.😍

Denver doesn't even recognize Maizy on her return, she's grown into a stunningly beautiful grown woman, she isn't a kid anymore!😳 Hes not sure how he's supposed to reconcile how he feels about her now, knowing that he'll lose her to her human aging sooner rather than later, regardless of what happens feels!💔

This is a tumultuous story which lets us get to know these characters on a much deeper level than ever before. Denver has secrets but so does Maizy!😳💥 I adored these two from book one & always hoped they'd get an HEA.💘🌟

This Series Keeps Getting Better

Next to 'Seven Years', 'Two Minutes' comes in a very close second. I was waiting for Denver's story and I hoped, hoped, hoped it involved Maizy because what child doesn't want to have a chance to be with their knight in shinning armor when they grow up?
I can understand the angst and hopelessness Denver faced knowing his wolf was just shy of feral. I can also understand the Maizy's wish to reconnect with her childhood friend, but neither are children now and there is a new electricity in the air.
I so love this series and will hate to see it come to an end. I will just have to follow Dannika to her next series and listen to what Nicole has in store.

Denver & Maizy?!

I really don't like the way Dannika's books are becoming increasingly obvious. It was a very pleasant surprise to find a 20+ yo Maizy as this book's first person narrator but from there it kind of all went downhill. Prince has gone from loner wolf who picks up a child on the edge of the road to a mega rich, well-established pack master willing to take advantage of Maizy.
Nah, this book has a lot of disappointment in it. Yes, I'll get the last book, but only to complete the collection.
