The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.

Publisher's Summary
Naya James is a confident woman who also happens to be an exotic dancer. She doesn't care if people judge her, just so long as they don't disrespect her. Life has been good, but when two dancers from her club are kidnapped, Naya risks everything to uncover the truth.
Wheeler is the black sheep of the family, evident from his extensive tattoo collection to his dark personality. Nothing like his twin brother, Ben, who can do no wrong. Wheeler's pack loyalty is put to the test when Austin orders him to act as a bodyguard for a woman he's despised for years - one who presses his buttons every chance she gets.

One complex, realistic,.gritty, hot, & sweet tale!
Would you listen to Three Hours again? Why?
Yes. I probably will. This has to be my favorite story of Dannika's to date. It was so perfect it hurt. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, eeked, and awwwed. And in the last chapter I did all of those things. I never expected to love this one as much as I did.
The beginning did start out pretty slow with a lot of updates on everyone we've already come to love in the past books. But man when this one gets rolling you get sucked right in. So much is answered and clicks neatly into place.
Another thing I love is the relationships and characters in this story. The interactions are so realistic (for fiction). There is a certain grittiness and a contrasting warmth throughout this whole story that makes this family feel like you could now them in real life. But Dannika perfectly masters that with her pretty amazing world of fantasy that makes us all read this genera of fiction. Not to mention the friction going on between Naya and Wheeler. Jeez, they are now in my top 5 favorite fiction couples. Together they are explosive. They are the perfect mix of friction & tenderness, rough edges & loving companion, cat & dog, and they are freaking hot when they're together. To actually have a male H give up actual control and enjoy it while the female h is the one taking over. All this while he still maintains his alpha manliness. Keeping in mind Wheeler is a misunderstood tatted bad boy, with brains, bronze, and a heart of gold. You can swoon now. XD
I will note I hate Ben. I can understand psychologically why he did what he did, but I still hate him. I hope he grows and can earn back his families trust but what he did.... Lol, yes this is exactly what makes this a fantastic story.
I will now tell you to go read this story and stop wasting time reading reviews wondering if this listen is worth a credit. It is. Hands down, it has rave reviews I've read them. Now go my fellow Audiblites and download this great listen! You won't regret it!
Have you listened to any of Nicole Poole’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Compared to the other books in this series I think Nicole's performance in the book was purrrr-fect (lol, couldn't help myself). Her voice just seemed perfect for Naya. The way she read her was just right. I can't imagine Naya sounding any other way. Besides that she made me loose myself in the story, and IMHO that is the mark of a great narrator. End of story.
Any additional comments?
I am dying to hear Maizy and Trevor's stories!!! I want them to have their happily ever afters! After this rocking story the anticipation may just kill me. So many mixed messages going on in this book in regards to both of them. Sigh.... Please keep up the fantastic work Dannika, you now have me completely hooked, and waiting (somewhat) patiently for the next story to come out.

I was pleasantly surprised.
Before I started this story, I wasn't particularly interested in Nyia (sp?) or Wheeler. Nyia seemed too girly and Wheeler seemed like a jerk. I wasn't looking forward to this story. I have to say I loved both of them in this story. I am so glad I chose to listen to this story! They are perfect together!

Best book of the series so far! For the love of cats & dogs
I really liked Wheeler's back story and the fact that he was the one with the dark dramatic past and not so much Naya. Yeah she was in danger and trouble, but she wasn't as scarred and vulnerable as her man. For the first time the narrator's voice didn't bug me, except when she did Maizy's voice (she's 11 not 4!).

Best Audible series I've hear
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definitely. Actually already did. We've always been fans of fantasy, and the world Dannika Dark dreams up and describes is wonderful.
What did you like best about this story?
I love how she continues to build the story through all her books. Plus, she always includes an interesting twist. I never know what to expect when I'm listening!
What does Nicole Poole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She is so creative and expressive!! Sometimes, it's hard for me to believe one person is doing all the narration. She is wonderful at creating a unique voice for each character, so even before she says the name, I know who spoke in the story.
Any additional comments?
Both Dannika and Nicole are so wonderful! I am jumping out of my skin waiting for the next book. On one hand, I can't wait to finish the series. On the other, I don't want the stories to ever end!

And Boom goes the Dynomite!!! Best of the Series!
Three Hours is my absolute favorite, followed by 6 Months. In this story we learn all about Wheeler and Nya. Wheeler's dark secrets come out and make him one of the deepest characters in the series.
Nya is just fantasticwith her sharp tongue and warm heart.
Nicole Poole knew it out of the park again.
one small complaint is that Nicole portrays Maize, at age 11, to still sound like a baby. that was a bit grating. but otherwise, phenomenal story!!

A delicious romance
Would you consider the audio edition of Three Hours to be better than the print version?
Totally, thanks to the awesome voiceover.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Three Hours?
The sofa in Naya's apartment.
Which character – as performed by Nicole Poole – was your favourite?
Wow, stunning performance.
Any additional comments?
Naya, in a previous book, kissed Wheeler, but only to show him what he was missing but could never have. Ever since that kiss I’ve been waiting for something to happen between the pair because that small piece of foreshadowing had me hooked. Wheeler is portrayed as the bad guy, but I had the feeling he would be full of passion and deep, dark secrets; I was not wrong.
Naya is a seductive, smouldering woman of the feline persuasion and not a gentle kitty at that. Her animal is ferocious and feared by all. This book has the femme fatale holding all the cards and Wheeler must fall. A deliciously romantic instalment from a fabulous series.

Series keeps going strong
Each time I finish the book, I think, the next won't be as good, but it sure is. It's great finding out what's happening to the other characters in the book and learning more about others we've not heard so much about yet. This is the turn of the twins but Wheeler in particular as we follow Nya. Nicole Poole is perfect for theses books nailing different voices and bringing so much to the narration it's like there are numerous people telling the story. Interesting and exciting storyline and as always at least a few laugh out loud moments of humour as with the previous books in the series (not too good if your listening in public!) I throughly recommend all the series but this was fabulous and was nice to see girl power in action so the boys didn't take all the glory!

Better than expected
I was afraid this one was going to be as predictable as the last two, so was pleasantly surprised when it took a turn for the better, casting out the usual self doubt & blindness to the other person's love, and instead cutting straight to the chase.
My one regret is that I think this could have easily lead to another crossover with the Mageri crew. In this regard alone, I think it was sadly predictable. Right at the beginning, Reno suspects cage fighting and behold: that's what it turned out to be. It could have been more interesting if it had turned out to be another attempt at cross breeding, since we left the Mageri crew suspecting there was someone pulling strings above Nero.
There were a few times when I felt the narration was slightly disjointed. Nicole Poole does a wonderful job, as always (although her 11yo Maisey needs a little improvement - Nicole still portrays her as a six year-old) but I think the editor may not have left enough gaps between some paragraphs to indicate passage of time/a new scene.
