A very enjoyable clean story
It was refreshing to me to listen to this book and realize that it is a Christian author. The characters I really enjoyed getting to know. Looking forward to the 2nd book in the O’Mally series The Guardian.

Loved characters
Not easy to find a book w Christian themes that isn’t heavy-handed or cheesy. Glad I found this one! And narrator did a fab job voicing the different characters. Didn’t want this one to end!!!

Beautiful Story with a touch of excitement!
I have read all of Ms. Henderson's books except the ones after her writing hiatus. This is a solid story experienced through the eyes of an unbeliever who walks in a very dangerous profession (law enforcement). Good narration except for the fact that Dave should have a British accent and the women do not sound like women. Yet, it is still lovely to hear the book read.

Feel good vs suspense
Family, orphans, love and suspenseful excitement, this book has it all. A group of orphans form their own family, the O’Malleys. They all find exciting service jobs. Kate is a negotiator. Big brother is a marshal. Then there are a fireman, a pediatrician, a Red Cross counselor, a forensic scientist, and a paramedic. They are family and their high suspense jobs overlap. I enjoy the relationships and, at times, hold my breath as one of them is in trouble. #Orphans #Family #Suspense #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes
