Publisher's Summary

In Dee Henderson's novella Betrayal, Janelle Roberts is freed - thanks to people she doesn't know - after serving six years of a 20-year sentence for a murder she did not commit. But a murderer is still at large, and Janelle needs to be somewhere safe with someone she can trust. She may not survive another betrayal.

In Dani Pettrey's Deadly Isle, Tennyson Kent is trapped on the isolated island of her childhood by a storm surge, and she is shocked when the typically idyllic community turns into the hunting grounds of a murderer. Cut off from any help from the mainland, will she and first love Callen Frost be able to identify and stop a killer bent on betrayal before they become the next victims?

In Lynette Eason's Code of Ethics, trauma surgeon Ruthie St. John saves the life of Detective Isaac Martinez. After a betrayal leads to him getting shot and then attacked while in recovery, Isaac is now a key witness determined to testify. But someone is intent on silencing him - and those around him - forever. Together, Ruthie and Isaac go on the run, desperate to escape the killers hunting him.

Great Novellas from some of my favorite authors

Loved these books. Betrayed by Dee Henderson features Anne and Paul Falcon. Like reading about old friends.
Deadly Isle by Dani Pettrey is a stand alone novella and well written.
Code of Ethics is part of Lynette Eason's series about the St. John family.
Great stories, all three. Worth the read or listen

Breath taking, Heart stoping stories

This book was amazing and made me want more. All three stories call for series to follow. They all left me wanting more and feeling a littl let down. I would reccomend anyone for this book. I especially love how the three different authors wrote about our protective and lifesaving services. these men and women need more praise and positive attention. The reader was amazing and because I have to listen to books, I believe I can say that she made them come alive for me. I could see the scenes in my minds eye. For these reasons I gave this book a full five rating. I hope all three authors will turn these stories into new series.

All three were great stories

I really enjoyed all three stories. The plots were well developed for being short stories and very interesting.

Started good

This story started out really good but moved to fast for my liking and then had an ending that left you wanting for a much better and tighter ending.

Great stories!

I loved all three of these! The first one kind of left me hanging, but overall, the story was great. And the other two didn’t disappoint at all. I definitely recommend them!

The Dee Henderson story is best

The Dee Henderson story is the best. the other two stories were ok but not worth reading again and the narrator is a chore to listen to - very melodramatic.
