Solid Advice

Solid, biblically-principled guidance for Fathers. Definitely worth the listen / read as we navigate the waters of Fatherhood.

Heavy on the religious ideas but still insightful

NOTE: This book is base on white evangelicals philosophy.

This book is pack with good and timeless principles that I think are a good starting point for all men that are starting the fatherhood journey, and a good refresher for all us that are going to be fathers again.

Convicting and empowering

Jeremy helps me see my shortcomings as a Father and as a son, but also empowers me to live a different life in the strength God provides.

Limited view of fatherhood, family and faith

Christian fathers may find these reflections helpful.

I found this to be overly fixated on what books from thousands of years ago, which were carried through the years by word of mouth, written down by different people separated by great distances, translated, edited, translated again and then “interpreted” over the last hundred years has to say about fathers.

Had I known about the heavy Christian hand I’d have avoided this one.

Author seems genuine, writing isn’t bad.
