AN AMAZING PERSPECTIVE INTO THE STRUGGLES OF MEN!!

I truly enjoyed this book, even as a woman. Indeed, Bishop T.D. Jakes does an excellent job at revealing the adversities and vulnerabilities of men. He even goes one step further and provides "tools" that both men and women can use in efforts of supporting their spouse. This is definitely a "re-read" item on my list and highly recommended for couples! I thank God for His ministry!!

2 time around

This is the second time I have had this book. I first read it over 15 years ago after getting married. 15 years later... this book means so much more. I kind of understood it then.. I'm hearing it now as a different man. thanks again TD Jakes

This book was raw and real

Who was your favorite character and why?

David ("a man after God's own heart"). I love the fact that if we love and seek to please God, He is faithful to either provide for us a natural father, a father figure, and/or fill the 'gap' entirely Himself. There is a path to wholeness for us men!

Which scene was your favorite?

The discovering of the King inside the Kid.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The section of the book that spoke about a man's relationship with his father.

This book is a VERY important read for all men, and a critically important read for most men.
