It opened my eyes to why we do this spiritual practice. After learning about fasting, I plan to do fasting more as part of my life in following Jesus.

There are no coincidences. I was praying and fasting the first week of 2024 and I saw this book advertised on Jentezen Franklin's Media Miniseries broadcast on TBN. I accessed it right away and joined the corporate fast with his church, Free Chapel. It has been such a blessing to me. I listen to the audio book during my spiritual times of fasting and prayer, repeatedly. It helps me stay motivated. It is a very resourceful guide on the spiritual principle of Fasting. Every Christian must have this book 😀❤💯!

Suffering For The Glory Of God!

Fasting for Spiritual Insights such as heightened discernment/perception, visions, dreams, signs, etc all require the “suffering of the carnal mind and body” to allow for the Spirit Of God to flow through you more unabated. It’s a discipline that takes consistency, and must be done properly in accordance with your personal health care as well, yet is most definitely worth it.
