Roller Coaster!

Stupid cliff hanger leaving me in suspense! Glutton for punishment...but I love it! Now I must get thee next book. Who need sleep!

I can't believe the ending............I became really into the book and then the ending ruined the whole experience. So disappointing and it left me annoyed, I felt like I had wasted my time. I even checked my library to be sure there was not another section that I had missed.

The end...there is NO closure on any of the main topics or minor ones. Very frustrating!

leesa loved it, so i tried it! :)

i follow leesa here on audible and typically, without fail, i always love what she recommends to the rest of us. thankfully, her reviews aren't too wordy so i can get through it and know pretty quickly if she loved it or decided it wasn't a book for her.

i was not going to listen to this book. i saw it on e-reader and i dunno, it just didn't do it for me when i read the synopsis. so i passed on reading it, old-style.

then i saw leesa's review. sigh. she loved it. i knew i better get it because dang it, i knew i'd love it too.

.....and of course i did! it's filled with angst, drama, great sex scenes and there's this churning in the background of the book where you know there's stuff going on that you're going to find out. and not like. but you must know. because the skeletons must come out of their closets.

i loved it. all of it.

i moved on to book two immediately, and then after i was finished i went right back and am now on book one again...i loved it that much. also, i wanted to go back and listen to the little juicy bits i missed on the first go-round because i was so anxious to get through it! sigh. what? you know you do it too. :)

so definitely give this a try. grace grant does a SUPERB job---as always, and draws you right into the story... just like a great narrator should.

Mystery and Hot Sex All In One!

Sara and Chris steam up the pages of this book but you also get mystery and suspense. I agree with other readers that it leaves you hanging and so I am glad I waited for the 2nd book to be released before beginning. This has been on my shelf to read for a while and I am not sure why I waited but am so glad that I have read it. I liked the steamy scenes in this book. The BDSM is not overboard and it is believable. I liked the tension between Sara, Chris and Mark. It keeps you guessing how they will all interconnect. Each character is full of pain and mystery and you never know how it is going to play out. At first I was not sure if I would like the Sara reading about someone else's experiences but it was just the right amount. There are several different plot twists that could lead off to other books and characters such as Mark and Steven or Ava. Grace Grant rocks it out of the park with narration. I really like her but again will comment on the fact that she sometimes sounds like she has a lot of saliva when speaking. After the first 5 min I totally get engrossed in her narration and forget all about it. I will highly recommend this book and cannot wait to start on book 2.

This is a winner!

Ms. Jones and Ms. Grant, wow! This one got me from the beginning and kept the interest going. There is a cliffhanger at the end but not to worry the follow up book is here. So, glad Audible kept the same Narrator. You have to listen to this one. It's so worth the money or Credit. I'm on the last of the three books now and I don't want it to end. Great job Audible in bringing us another great book. Thanks.

Suspenseful Erotica!! Hated cliffhanger ending!!

This book actually has a good story behind it---at least so far. It is more than the usual poor girl meets billionaire and he has to own her forever. Of course it has all that , but also a mystery story to keep the reader interested. The narrator was good. I do sooo hate a cliffhanger and it will lose stars from me for that. I'm sure I will continue the series though so I guess it is effective. I would not continue if the book was not so good. It is credit worthy.

This book has a little bit of everything; romance, mystery, suspense, and steamy hot love scenes. You really get into the main character, knowing her thoughts and feelings. What I enjoyed most is that the book was not predictable, and I wondered many times what would happen next.

The narrator was pleasant to listen too. When I started the book I didn't think I'd like it, I found myself getting into to it after a while. It's not exactly an original story line but it gets the job done.

Narrator did a great job! The storyline it's not original but keeps you entertained and interested. Worth listening. I was as curious as Sarah
